If you are taking iodine and the companion nutrients and are feeling fine, then I wouldn’t worry. The only way to know what your situation is, is to do a 24 hour loading test with bromide levels - www.hakalalabs.com (see the Iodine supplementing guide for more detailed information). I finally found a doctor http://www.askdrdesilva.com/ that believes in nutritional approaches to curing diseases. We discussed methylation and he agrees that I should be tested for MTHFR but didn't know a lab that would do it. He also wants me to do the iodine loading test just to see my levels so I will be using the site you recommended. There may be others but these two labs have done my family's testing. Yes please add the bromide level too so that you can see if the saturation level is accurate and if you are successfully pushing out bromide. The 24 hour loading test only gives you 1/2 the picture. I have been working on cleaning out bromides since 2006. I have not tested in a few years and I have a sample that needs to go to my doc's office for testing from October. Honestly I don't think we can ever let up on working on it. It will be a life long fight in our toxic world.
