Guest guest
I asked my doc to order free and total T3 and T4 but instead he ordered just total T3 and just free T4. I have heard over and over that the reference ranges are too broad, so where SHOULD my levels (of total T3 and free T4) be, ideally? Thanks!! Guest guest
So are following good numbers (thyca but no RAI or surgery) ??Thyroxine (T4) Free Direct: 1.35 (range is 0.82 - 1.77)Triiodothyronine (T3) Free: 2.9 (range is 2.0 - 4.4)Vit. D came out very low (been coming out low for last one year) at 25.6 where the range is 32-100...What good stuff could I take to get that level up? Guest guest
Your FT4 looks OK but your FT3 is a little low. My children and I range around 350 - 375 when we feel our best. As for increasing Vit D. Our family uses Biotics Research Bio-D-Mulsion Forte. It is 2,000 iU of Vit D3 and is emulsified for better absorption. My children take 2,000 iu per day plus they take Cod Liver Oil which has A & D. I take 10,000 iU / day because that is how much it takes to get it to the 70 level where I feel best.
