Guest guest
I just but them in a baking pan with a little bit of olive oil, I think Pam would work, too, and then sprinkle with seasonings, bbq, garlic salt, taco season, etc. Not all at once, just whatever mood I'm in. Then I baggie them up according to serving size and they are sooo easy to grab for a meal with an apple or 1/2 bannana or cut up and put in a ww tortilla with some ff cheese or brown rice, mmmmmmmmmm ) That's what I do with mine, I'm sure there are more creative ideas out there ) Merry Christmas ) Sunshine > Hi everyone. This year he barely stirred until 10am. > Oh I remember being about 8 or so and staying up all night and pestering my parents so bad about getting up to open presents, at 5am they would finally get out of bed because they knew they weren't going to get any more sleep. This went on for a few years, with all of us kids at home I am suprised they ever got any sleep on Christmas Eve. Then yes... in the later years 10am is about right > Yesterday he informed us that this is absolutely the last year he's going to allow us to videotape him opening his gifts. " oh come one, just one more year " each year.. LOL tell him when he has his own kids to sit in front of your video camera he can get out of that... and that should be a good 5 more years away! LOL > They're so cute! And the pj's look like a Disney Princess design, too. Was that intentional or just how they came out? > With being sick this year I broke down and actually bought them PJ's, but they were on sale at Wal-Mart, and just some brand they sell, not disney princess, but do look like it > With it being on for 24 hours, we probably caught the entire movie just by flipping around. We spent most of the time on the Sci-Fi channel watching the 2 Gremlin movies. > ahhhh I remember those, I have A Christmas Story on VHS, but didn't bother popping the tape in, just figured with all the hustle and bustle of the kids running around we may as well have the commercials as well so I could get up and do things during those, or work on makind dinner and not feel like I had to sit right there to see the whole thing. I think we caught it a total of 2 times. > That's something we couldn't do this year because of all our illnesses. We decided we saw enough lights the night we picked Henry up at school after his night class' exam. > We like to take a few different nights and see a few different rural cities. We went again last night for probablly the last time until next year. THANK GOD we are finally getting well again! I am back to almost 90-95% I'd say and should be getting back to exercising come Janurary! Hubby wants to start back in as well... he took some time off because of a foot injury and then he caught something that lingered for a few days. So hopefully the crud is leaving my house! > Thankfully we had clear skies and no sign of the torrential rains we had Wednesday. Sun's out here again today, but it's a bit cooler. That's okay - 55 was a bit too warm for December. > I know.. I saw that on The Weather Channel, and was actually a little jealous, but I do like to have my white christmas so I wasn't too disappointed at the bitter cold. > Is this all your property? This is more in area than our city's biggest park! Wow! > It is all ours, The dead tree is in our back yard near the field line, the Soy Field and then the Woods. We also have more property to the south and a little to the north as well. The second photo (chirsmas03d) was of the front yard and the field across the street that was corn the last several years, but not ours. I'm not sure of the size of the parks around there, but we have 25+ acres, the measurments are a little questionable as to the exact acrage we have. We are taxed on 25, yet the mortgage company and our builder say we have 40 according to the discription, yet when I checked with the county they said because of a varriance (due to the curvature of the earth) we probablly have more then the 25 they are taxing on, but not the 40 either.. I don't know, I just know where the lines are IF it were a true 40 acres then we would have 1/4mile X 1/4 mile square. Don't know if that helps at all... LOL As for the correction on the one pic addy, what happened was I looked at the website (where I always read) and part of it was under an advertisement. I didn't think about that and just assumed it wouldn't work so reposted, and thought it odd that when I hit reply the right addy came up, but still reposted. Oh well, guess that's what I get for reading at at the web site I hope everyone is doing well! a

I think you hold the record for this list, so far, as for how long this flu is lasting. I'd say and should be getting back to exercising > come Janurary! I honestly feel well enough to pop on a *gentle* exercise tape today, but with Ed sleeping and Henry in his room with his friends, that's not something I can do right now. Definitely tomorrow morning, even if it's only part of a toning tape. Something like or a BlastOff is waiting for next week, for sure. >So hopefully the crud is leaving my house! Guest guest
we had to get up early because we were headed to mom's early because of the niece and nephew - we went in our pj's LOL (my inner child has been running amok this Christmas season <GBG>) then back home to get ready to go to my aunt's and then on to my cousins. I videoed and it was right up against last years too - for as much as I wanted that camera I prefer my digital camera. we went to mom's Christmas eve and than wandered home checking out lights along the way. we had no snow on the ground but my mom had nearly 2 inches and she's only a half an hour south , aunt and sister had some snow too (1/2 hour to the west!) I took 218 pictures in 2 days! I even got in front of the camera this year LOL Jesus is the reason for the Season Merry Christmas! Merry Christmas Everyone!Today has been a good day so far! The girls slept in until almost 8am and came down just after I got the video camera set up to tape this years christmas right after last years on the same tape. The girls were all wearing their PJ's that they got on Christmas Eve:http://www.boomspeed.com/paulamm/christmas03b.JPGThen began opening their gifts, we had breakfast, and then lounged around a bit playing with the girls toys and games with them. Dinner is in the oven cooking (well, part of it anyways) and we are watching "a christmas story" one of my all time favorite movies! We had fun last night driving around looking at christmas lights and stopped at my brother and sister in laws church where they have a live nativity scene. There were Goats, Llamas, duck, turkey, chicken, and a few other animals wondering around with people stanind pretty much still for the wisemen, shepheard, , ph and a plastic baby (too cold for a real one).We had some snow on the ground at home, but not in Eaton Rapids where my brother lives about 35 miles away. This morning we awoke to more snow and the snow falling. I will try and get a pick loaded to boomspeed in a few minutes and this "should" be the address:http://www.boomspeed.com/paulamm/christmas03c.JPGand maybe:http://www.boomspeed.com/paulamm/christmas03d.JPGif I get a second one loaded.I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the day, year and a great new year to come!a

I refuse to take smaller pictures to get more on a disc. I have managed to use them all on vacation as well as at birthdays, weddings, christenings etc. LOL I know what you mean - on occasion (read - when absolutly forced too LOL) we end up in the car / van with mom, 2 sisters myself and 2 kids or any combo thereof! I remember one trip it was a 16 yr old cousin I was going to throttle - 'are we there yet' 'how much longer' etc. my kid was 6 or 7 at the time and she was never one to ask that - road trips from the time she was 3 weeks old is probably the reason she is still my favorite travel companion. While it should take us only about 12 -13 hours to go from IL to GA when it's a 2-3 car caravan it takes us almost 17 hours (somebody always has to use the bathroom or get gas or food ARG!) dreams are good for us - any chance they could visit you? Guest guest
I am in Michigan also. I'm in BIrch RUn Katy Hi Everyone! No, I haven't disappeared, I'vebeen busy trying to get some things done around thehouse - make room for the Christmas tree, writingChristmas cards, cleaning and yes I've even beenworking on my exercise plan. *Thank you Kassia forsending Katy the email about slowly adding moreexercise to each day...I tend to get carried awaymyself! I will be having a quiet Christmas here with myMom and my crazy Siamese cats, Mia and Gizmo MyMom made about 6 batches of English Toffee for familyand friends. Most of our relatives live in Nebraskaso she makes them toffee and mails it to them forChristmas. I had her make me some toffee to give tomy friends, co-workers and some students that I eithertutor or interpret for. I LOVE doing this every year!(but I will have to learn how to make it soon!)Anyway, I have always enjoyed giving things to peopleand watching their reactions when they open the gift. It really is true (in my opinion) that it is better togive than to receive. I get so much more by giving topeople whether it's tutoring someone, interpreting forsomeone or giving them a small gift at Christmas. This year I gave everyone on my Deaf/HearingBowling league a Christmas or Holiday card. A fewspecial friends I gave keychains to or toffee. Theywere very surprised! I had my share of surprises too!Three of the students that I tutor gave me gifts! Iwasn't expecting them to do this so I was very touchedwhen they did. One girl gave me a tree ornament thatwas a cat with a santa cap on it. The other twoladies made me chocolate covered candies and theybought me a travel bag for my trip to Alaska (with theI love you sign on it!) christmas socks and notecardsthat said "It's good to be a Queen." I tutored allthree of them in a sign language class at a localuniversity. I was happy that they felt that I hadhelped them to do well in their class.***************************************************************** For all of the Christians reading this - MerryChristmas and remember that Jesus, our savior is thereason for this holiday.
