Do you think someone with breast cancer should take the same forms of selenium and b12?

Thanks, Robyn

Are you taking the methylated forms of the Selenium and B12? My hunch is that with Hashimotos you also have the gene defect called the MTHFR which makes you unable to process (break down) certain vitamins to a usable form. For these people it is important to take the Methlyl forms of B12, Se and Folate. I have attached the Methylation pathway chart. You can look at the nutrients and see where they fit into the cycles and what things they effect if "missing" from the process. Dr Brownstein also has a product called DMG Complete that helps with this gene defect and methylation. You can purchase it from his office at www.centerforholisticmedicine.com
