I have read that the Lugol's will stain teeth but is cheaper to use as opposed to the iodoral pill. I am yet to start. I wish there were a protocol for general info on each on the website. (not me) Or putting into capsules?Do you just want to throw down a handful of pills that you can carry in your pocket? (my Hugs) I think staining is a diversion - if it should stain, just eat/drink something with citric acid . . .I like Lugol's because it's cheap, I can adjust my dose infinitely, I don't mind drinking it AND I have massive maldigestion and malabsorption. I already take TOOOOOO many pills. Both Lugol's and Iodorol are the best, IMO . . . but I don't know about ALL formulations.-- Peace . . . Guest guest Posted November 23, 2011 Report Share Posted November 23, 2011 I am very new to this. I’ve been taking the iodine for about 2 1/2 weeks. I ordered the lugol’s and the iodoral. Some days I take the liquid and some days I take the pills. (50mg) I have noticed that I seem to have more energy and feel better in general when I take the iodorol. This may be purely coincidence or it may be in my head although I had no bias toward either product going into this. I guess time will tell. It has be proposed that it may be because Iodoral is delivered lower into the gut for better absorption where Lugol's is subject to the acid in the stomach. Buist, ND HC Re: which iodine?
