Guest guest
Hi, Last week I had an ultrasound scan of my gall bladder as I have been getting bad back pain between my shoulder blades which my n/path though might be due to stones. I was told that my gall bladder is " floppy " and no functioning properly though no stones. She also checked my uterus pelvic area and pointed out that I have an ovarian cyst which I new about but this has grown from 1cm to 4cm since my last scan ealier this year. My n/path has not told me to take iodine but I do take a good supplement containing it. Any suggestions please? I have to see my GP next week and I know he will want the cyst biopsied. I also have a small fibroid and do have bleeding problems & low ferritin levels for which I have been taking Biocare Iron Phosphate with Ethanolamine - prescribed by n/path. What can I do to get my gall bladder working. Im 50 now & felt rotten for 22 yrs. Thanks, Adrienne.
Guest guest
Hi there: I doubt that your supplement would contain enough Iodine to make a difference. Usually just in micrograms (mcg.), you might want to consider trying just one drop per day of Lugol's 5% liquid Iodine and seeing where that takes you. I DID THAT and still increasing at one drop per week and these are the benefits after 12 weeks (or so) and now at 15 drops per day. Week 4 - stomach and digest MUCH IMPROVED Week 8 - Diabetes left me and off Meds, no more Neuropathy pain Week 9 - no bladder infections, no sinus infectsion. Week 10 - body temperature now up to normal Week 12 - just had an Ultrasound and Uterine Lining has shrunk to normal and fibroids are gone. I COULDN'T ASK FOR MORE. Why don't you go for it, you said you feel rotten. Maybe if you could EXPLAIN what you mean by that, we can discuss it.
