Dear greencreamfan Here’s a link to amazon where the price is more reasonable, $32.50 + shipping $2.40 for the 180 pill bottle : http://www.amazon.com/Optimox-Iodoral-180-tabs/dp/B000X843VG/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc & ie=UTF8 & qid=1323028219 & sr=1-1 Stan From: iodine [mailto:iodine ] On Behalf Of greencreamfanSent: Sunday, December 04, 2011 6:14 AMiodine Subject: Cheaper alternative to Iodoral? I'm on Iodoral 50mg a day (4 x 12.5mg) at the moment but it's getting pricey at near $40 a month. Is there any cheaper alternative to it and where can I find it in the US? Thanks!

Referring to the email below.

This price below of $37.90 (with shipping) a 6 week supply of Iodoral pills.

Looking further down on the page at Amazon, Iodoral 50 mg. is $53.24 for 3 months, and 1 pill per day, so even cheaper.

Does splitting the dose up improve absorption? I have a fear the body will not

know what to do with the mega dose of iodine when you dump 50mg into the system

all at once.

I take 100 mgs of Iodoral all at once. That's how I beat cancer. I took 125 mgs at one time as well.

Do you have to take both Lugals and Iodoral?

They are the same thing - one is a pill form and one is a liquid. It's like comparing Tylenol liquid to Tylenol Pill or Gel Caps - same thing.

I just bought 1 oz of 7% lugol's from the full orchestra on Ebay. It works out

to $4 per month approx for 50 mg dose.

If you're taking the companion nutrients, you have nothing to fear. The

companion nutrients help the iodine work and to help clear the inevitable detox

debris. Lots of folks have started off at the 50mg level, even much higher. That

all being said, start at 6.25mg and work your way up gradually. There is no rule

that says you must start at 50mg. The only thing is to make sure you're taking

the companion supplements with the iodine. I started at 50mg and didn't get a

detox reaction (bromoderma) until I got into 175 - 200mg range.

Lugol's is more versatile. You can paint it on, gargle it, inhale it, put on

scratches and fungal infections, etc.. It also goes into the stomach where it

can be readily absorbed. I am pretty sure Lugol's kills H. pyroli. Symptoms of

it --> http://hpylorisymptoms.org/ Also see the very good thread at

http://curezone.com/forums/am.asp?i=932273 This is a really wicked bacterium and

it looks like Lugol's will go after it with a vengeance.

It is good to have both Lugol's and Iodoral. Also, by making your own Lugol's

you can save considerable money. Iodoral is great for traveling or where

convenience is desired. It is not messy or spillable. www.pureformulas.com is

the cheapest source of Iodoral that I have seen, btw.
