Dear All,

I started taking the following supplements last Sunday as per Dr P instructions.

Nutri Adrenal extra ( 1 tab at breakfast)

Co-enzyme Q10 - ( 1 tab at breakfast)

Intrinsic B12 Folate ( 1 tab at Breakfast)

Iso D3 ( 1 tab at breakfast)

I noticed that by urine has gone a " yellow colour " which did not alarm me.

However last night, (to celebrate the delivery of my T3 cytomel and hopefully

the road to recovery!) I had a very small glass of white wine. When i say small

I mean approx 100mls.

I had just finished the wine when I started to feel very flushed on my face.

Within a matter of minutes my face was very red and flushed all over. It went

right up into my hairline and even over my eyelids.it also felt like it was

burning.

I did get quite upset and thought that i may end up having to go to hospital,

but i lay down with some cold flannels and ice packs to cool it down. It has

gone now but i need to know if these supplements react with alcohol. I very

rarely drink due to taking pain meds but this has left me feeling quite scared.

I have not even starting taking Nutri thyroid or Cytomel yet and i am panicking

in case I get a further reaction.

Thank you

Dawn

p.s

Sheila could i possible send you a private e-mail later?

Dawn,

I'm don't claim to be an expert but sometimes this can be a reaction to Niacin -

Could be the B12 or from the NUE - Don't be alarmed, it's actually a very

healthy reaction from your body.
