In one of Dr. Brownstein's blogs he said his veterinarian friend recommended that animals should have 0.08 mg. per lb. of body weight.

Hi all,I have been taking iodine for about a year now and am pleased with the results. A few posts have mentioned giving iodine to cats or dogs. I am interested in this for my dog and 2 cats. One of the cats has some symptoms or hyperthyroid, though I have not had her tested. I would assume since iodine is good for normalizing thyroid in people it would also work for cats. Does anyone have experience with this, more info on dosage and companion nutrients, or a web reference where I can find that? Thanks,Melody
