Guest guest
I wonder if the rash could be related to suffering with Lupus. Many people with Lupus get a rash on their face, chin, neck, chest. Type in 'lupus rash' into Google and then hit 'Images' and you will see lots of pictures there to compare your rash with. Swollen face, eyes etc could be under treated thyroid, 20mcgs T3 is a very small dose, and should be increased by 10mcgs every 2 to 3 weeks if no adverse reaction. People make the mistake of not increasing their medication at the right time. Luv - Sheila I don't think that I have Glandular Fever - significantly, I was under stress at work and then started feeling run down and then glands came up and coldness and tiredness etc - and when my bloods were done - my TSH had gone up from 0.38 to 2.8 which is odd as I am taking thyroxine - only 50 mcg - they will not let me have any more as the prat at the hosp said I did not have a thyroid problem!? I have also been self treating tentatively on T3 - 20 mcgs a day. So not sure but once I can see Dr S all - I hope - will be well! I hope you get sorted - but the puffy face and eye thing does nothing for our self confidence does it. I have tried massaging my face and ice packs to no avail.
