Guest guest
In any case, the point is that the information given on the Adrenals list about iodine is simply WRONG. Injurious. Counterfactual. The wrong information about iodine is everywhere, not just there. Western medicine still teaches completely false information about iodine to doctors. So it's not surprising that the Adrenals list gives out wrong information. What is surprising is when good information about iodine is available. That's why this list exists, to disseminate the correct information. -- moderator On 30 Nov 2011 at 16:33, Kathleen Blake wrote: > > > > > The owner doesn´t look too healthy, judging by her photograph. > Kathleen > Re: Hi, need help, question on selenium and > iodine? > > > I thought both the mods were thriving. > So who do i believe? > > Bek

Guest guest
have hope, you will recover just fine, taking (enough) iodine, thyroid and adrenal meds. there is a website fibrocysticrecovery.com--I think that's it but not sure. you are not on thyroid meds? Gracia So how did you get better from the Adrenal exhaustion?? i am on HC but it is not making me feel any better at all. I take 30 mgs a day, bout to run out, my order won't arrive in time, self treating. ANd I have been diagnosed with Fibro too. But i think Fibro is Hypo. The pain i think is from underactive untreated Hypo. NOt sure. JUst an opinion. I am going in circles really, i did unjoin the adrenals group not too long ago. I follow the group on Facebook for adrenals too, they have issues too though. Many are uninformed. IT is a mess, this disease and i am not sure i will ever feel better. It is gong on 17 yrs. now that i have felt so unwell and now so ill. Guest guest
Hi, So that's strange isn't it? I need T3 only due to my ratio for RT3/T3 is only 9.8. About a yr. ago i tryed Armour and it made me feel as i was on 1500000 cups of coffee.. I climbed the walls. What would that suggest? That i didn't need T4? Guest guest
No, i tryed the T3 which is what i need and felt much sicker and hurt so much worse in my muscles which hurt daily but got a lot worse on T3. Tryed it twice with the same results. I do have low iron.. Am takin it now. Don't know how long it takes to bring up from 100 to optimal. I take 50 mgs of Iodoral.. IS that enough? Guest guest
The new formula of Armour made my heart race and I felt jittery too. I switched to Nature-throid and have been doing well since 2009 on it. Armour also increased my RT3 too and this has been a common complaint from those who took the new formula of Armour. We do not know why it makes most feel horrible or increases RT3 but they did something bad to it. Buist, ND HC Hi, need help, question on selenium and iodine? Guest guest
I'm wondering why T3 makes me feel so ill, and hurt so much worse. I don't Armour and can't. I only need T3. My RT3/T3 ratio proves that, at 9.8. So, i don't know what to do to get to take T3 which i need so much to reduce my RT3. If i could tolerate it i bet i would feel like a whole new person. Guest guest
I was on HC for approx 25 years for adrenal failure. After doing IV-Vitamin C almost weekly for a couple of years I'm mostly off HC. The adrenals are the highest users of Vitamin C in the body. So, if you can find a doc who will do IV vitamin C that might help. Guest guest
Almost a year ago I was diagnosed with a seriously compromised immune system, including adrenals, liver, pancreas, thyroid. I was treated with IV Vit C and Hydrogen Peroxide. Expensive at the clinic I went to, so a went online and discovered Iodine, etc. and ldn. They have made a huge difference in my life. I do not even get a cold anymore! I still have much to work on and just lurking on this list has taught me much. I am self-diagnosing" at this point. Money is simply too tight. I think (hope) I am making the right decisions. It costs FAR less to eat better and supplement my way back to health than going to even a good doctor. But I sure would love to have the extra $$ to get re-tested. I FEEL far better, but do not know how much more "improvement" to hope for. I just figure I did not get sick overnight and I won't get better overnight. So making the above change and actually noticing significant improvement has been uplifting. I had no clue at first, but the key is educating oneself. This group has taught me far more than I knew existed, but it ALL makes sense AND, what I am doing IS helping. Just watch out for those "high-priced" docs who may be correct in what they are doing, but cost you lots more. There is a lot you can do for yourself. miper70 wrote: How much do you take now?
