Ok. I don't recall that at all.

So, how do i find the new member info? I don't have a clue.

I am also running out of HC, and can't post to the adrenal group, cream doesn't work for me. Don't have a clue what i will do, i ordered it when i opened my last bottle, which is what i thought to last me, but it isn't going to.

Yes, someone told me that i shouldn't take these, but the book states that we can.

That is if we take the companion supplements.

So i am guessing before i get to the new member info you say to read, that we can take both sel. and iodine.

Can you please send info on where to find this info?

And yes, be sure to take the Companion Nutrients recommended while taking iodine. I am sorry I do not know the answer to your HC question; hopefully someone else will be able to address that for you. Val on the Adrenal group believes that it is dangerous to take Selenium as well as Iodine when you have hashimotos. This will get you in a deeper health disaster than you are starting with.

One word of advice. The internet and these groups are "faceless". You should get to know the health of those who give you advice. If they are not thriving in their own life then question their authority to give advice about your condition.

I totally agree with you. I belonged to that group and followed her advice for a while and I only got worse, it was a big mistake for me to have stopped Iodine. Finally I woke up and decided to get back on Iodine and it was the best thing for me. I felt 100% better right from the start of taking iodine, I had more energy and just can't explain the feeling of being more complete after starting back on it. I haven't have any detox or felt any yet... maybe I will but so far nothing I know about and I take 75mg. Not taking iodine was a big mistake and not taking Selenium would be too. Oh thanks. I had joined your group way before her group so when she lectured about not taking iodine I knew it wasn't right but went along anyway.... yes the whole time knowing that it would came back to haunt me. Sometimes you have to learn the hard way to know which way is right. My h is on Iodine and has Hashi but his antibodies are so low now he doesn't take any thyroid med at all, just iodine. If he'd listened to her advice he'd have been worse off. Another thing is she makes general statements about how everyone needs to be on T3 only when they have Rt3 and this is the only way..... I tried it her way and again it made me very sick. It wasn't until I got my liver functioning right, worked on my insulin resistance and started taking iodine that I was on the road to recovering from rT3. I just want to validate Steph's point here. Steph cured herself of cancer

markers

with the iodine protocol, and her husband's Hashi antibodies disappeared with

I agree with the comment about the internet being faceless. I have learned a great deal from the other group and the thyroid group, but my goodness! I was just dx with hypo in 11/16. Doc started me on 15 mgs of np thyroid, and has let me increase to 45 mgs currently and had told me I can increase to 60 if needed. I also take kelp and thyroid energy. The " other " groups immediately told me my 15 mgs was too little and that most start out on 60 mgs and all of this other info. Well, to make a long story short, I was so scared and emotional listing to what everyone said...I was a ball of emotions, called my doc in tears! I was convinced that I was going to loose even more hair based on what some of them told me because I was not starting out at a higher dose. Also, I was scared that because I have low vit d and ferritin, they said my meds won't absorb properly and I will have more issues. Well..I feel great. I haven't felt this great in do long! My antibodies are very low for Hashi's.. I can't tolerate T3 so am just addressing the adrenals which are truly in bad shape with HC.

So do you think i should give up on trying T3 again???

It made me feel so ill, and my muscles hurt so much worse than they do already.

Have any suggestions? HOw long before you husband felt better on just Iodine? ANd no thyroid meds?

So how did you get better from the Adrenal exhaustion?? i am on HC but it is not making me feel any better at all.

I take 30 mgs a day, bout to run out, my order won't arrive in time, self treating.

ANd I have been diagnosed with Fibro too. But i think Fibro is Hypo. The pain i think is from underactive untreated Hypo.

NOt sure. JUst an opinion.

I am going in circles really, i did unjoin the adrenals group not too long ago.

I follow the group on Facebook for adrenals too, they have issues too though.

Many are uninformed.

IT is a mess, this disease and i am not sure i will ever feel better. It is gong on 17 yrs. now that i have felt so unwell and now so ill.

WOW, i know i have gotten conflicting info.

It is so confusing and frustrating it makes one (me) want to blow their head off. I have most of the pshycological symptoms of Hypo and also AF.

Dont' know who to listen to, it is just a mess.

But i am back on iodine and selenium so who knows.

I was able to overcome severe adrenal fatigue with a product from Biotics Research called Cytozyme AD. I think they have it on Amazon.com I also took 1 scoop of BalanCe (Vit C, Mg, K, Ca) 2x per day (www.vrp.com). For about 2 mos I tried to take HC but that was during the time when my dad was in ICU and then died. I got off of it after 2 mos because I gained weight and didn't feel like I was making progress. I just stress dosed with it when I felt like I was getting sick.

My adrenals were so bad that I would get stars and almost black out when I stood. If I got into a situation where I was scared my pulse would race and hit over 100 and not stop for hours on end. It was a scary time. But I kept doing the basic things and detoxing my body and it all started to come together. I didn't get sick over night and I did not heal that quickly either. But as long as I saw positive changes - even once in a while. I was encouraged.

T3 made my body hurt all over too. I don't know why. Armour made it all go away.

Hi, need help, question on selenium and iodine?

Hi,

I am resending this even though i sent it today, it didn't come through.'

I was told by a member, that since i have Hashi's that i shouldn't take selenium or Iodine.

Is this true?

I take the companion nutrients.

I don't have a bad case, but do have the antibodies so am not sure what to do.

I am sure we all need iodine.

The thyroid does,.
