Hi there:

Just saying hello and putting in my 2 cents worth, where I can but I don't know much. YET. I think these things could be resolved (in time) with the Iodine. Goiter, Endometriosis, Type 2 Diabetes (mine is now gone at week 8), if the intestinal polyps respond like breast cysts and uterine fibroids, they should go too,

Now Gastroparesis, I can speak to. I have it with for 9 years and had a LOAD of Bacteria (either in the stomach or the GI Tract probably both) because of it and now that is 100% better, feeling better, digesting better and let me tell you that Gastroparesis ALONE can cause a LOT of your problems - like brain fog, numbness and tingling, muscle weakness and so on. All that bacteria leaking through the Gut Wall, just awful. Causes many symptoms. IODINE will eventually kill off that load of bacteria and it did it for me in about 3 weeks.

I started off at 1 drop of 5% Lugol's per day for 1 week, then 2 drops the next week. So by the time you get to the 8th week, you should be taking 8 drops and that is 50 mg. and that is WHERE my Diabetes left, at week 8.

As far as absorbing, that is not going to be 100% because of the Gastroparesis but the IODINE will help so much in so many areas= like enlarged Thyroid.

Well, girl I think you're going to be very happy, but starting at 50 mg. I wouldn't have done. Also with Gastroparesis, you need the Liquid not the pill.

Write me directly with any questions.

A few years ago I had a 24 hour loading test and the results came back "normal" at 80% excretion. Would there be any way to have a normal result but still be deficient? The reason I ask is that I have quite a few issues and I've been searching for a long time to find answers. I thought iodine would help but when I looked back at my old 24 hour test, it seems close to normal so maybe it's not the issue? Would anyone be willing to look at this list and see what they think?- a goiter with multiple nodules- Stave IV endometriosis- type 2 diabetes- multiple polyps in intestines- very low basal temps- hair loss- MS-like symptoms (numb and tingling limbs, small tremors, weakness, painful electrical shock areas)- significant vitamin D deficiency- severe brain fog- gastroperesis- overwhelming muscle weakness and overall exhaustion- don't recover from exercise, it wipes me out and I almost immediately fall asleep after and then I am sore for a week at least!I'm only 37 and I have 3 small kids and It's been terrible. I've had thyroid tests run by natural doctors (free T3, free T4, etc.) and they always come back normal yet I have the enlarged thyroid with tumors. All the other problems seem like they must be related but I don't know anymore. I was considering a digestive problem leading to malabsorption although I'm overweight so I'm absorbing something! LOL. Could possibly celiac be a culprit? I think all these conditions could be auto-immune related? I started 50mg Iodoral a few days ago and it's been OK aside from one pimple and a bad headache last night.Any thoughts would be really appreciated!Blessings,Duttlyn

Wow!! Thank you so much!! And funny enough, my list of cr*p is so long that I

forgot the large fibroadenoma in my left breast, the uterine polyps, and the

fibrocystic breasts. My goodness, when I see it all written down, it's quite

embarrassing. I mean, I'm 37 and I feel like people must look at me askew and

think I'm some sorta hypochondriac yet all these things are diagnosed. Sigh.

Your input is very much appreciated. This gives me so much hope that you have

similar issues and are doing better. The gastroperesis thing surprises me

because I had no idea that it could cause so many problems! I currently take HCL

with dinner and that is immensely helpful but I know things don't work properly.

Plus, it's so hard to control your sugars when you're digesting for hours and

hours after a meal so the idea that it could get better with Iodine

supplementation is exciting. I have the liquid Lugol's so I'll begin taking that

instead and we will see how it goes.

Thank you so much for the advice. I can't wait to see how things progress.

Oh, one last thing, the 50MG doesn't seem to be bothering me. Maybe that's

because I'm not digesting it? At any rate, I figure I have so many issues that

heavy detox wouldn't be much different than what I go through so I just went

whole hog with the 50MG. Is that dangerous for some reason?

Thanks Again!!

Duttlyn,

Many people start right in with 50mg. If you're not having bad detox symptoms,

it is

because your body is keeping up with the detoxing for now. That's a good thing.

If

you want to increase your amount, you can. Given the list of problems you have,

I'd say it would be a good idea. Sometimes people don't start having detox

symptoms for a week or 10 days or more after adjusting their dose. Once you

reach a dose that creates symptoms, back down slightly and keep your dose there.

The stomach absorbs and uses iodine directly, so it actually is a good idea to

take

some Lugol's drops for people with digestion issues. You can take a couple of

drops of Lugol's in addition to your Iodoral.

And no, it's not dangerous at all. Do not worry.

Duttlyn:

Here I am again and reading this post below, brings up some information.

I too take HCL pills but a Pancreatin digestive enzyme might also help. I read that GP can cause digestive organs to be weak and need support.

You decide which form of Iodine you take but since half your symptoms (you listed) are caused by the Gastroparesis my Iodine of choice would be the LIQUID.

Like I said before with one drop daily of 5% Lugol's it took 3 weeks to notice my GUT was better (3 drops daily by the 3rd week)but the GP will never go away, but with DAILY LIQUID IODINE, you can at least keep the bacteria down and the symptoms as well. Even though your digesting for hours after a meal - that just makes one uncomfortable and bloated but it's the BACTERIA that causes all those symptoms you mentioned.

Since I am now at week 16 and taking 16 drops (100 mg), this is the level where I think I will stay. My Sinus problems are gone, my Endometrium thickness back to normal, Fibroids gone, Diabetes gone, no more bladder infections, Hypothyroid gone and much more, I'm a happy camper.

Gosh... we are so alike in our issues! And, WOW WOW WOW!!!! What a testimony to

the benefits of iodine. I took the liquid version today (20 drops of 2%) per

your suggestion. If I could get just 1/2 the results you have I will be ONE

HAPPY CAMPER!

Blessings.

Hi! I just want to throw in something to consider - I had started out on

Lugol's drops, and then seemed to have some stomach irritation, so switched to

Iodorol, and was doing fine, but then it occurred to me that there would

probably be some benefit to taking both forms, since they can act in different

places. I now take about 20 drops of 2% Lugol's and 5 Iodorol a day, and am

feeling pretty good! I did not have the horrible conditions many suffer with,

but I had been losing my hair and eyebrows, had brain fog, very tired, cold, and

other stuff I can't even think of off hand. I feel like I am constantly

improving now, slowly but surely.

forgot the large fibroadenoma in my left breast, the uterine polyps, and the

fibrocystic breasts.

I have the liquid Lugol's so I'll begin taking that

instead and we will see how it goes.

because I'm not digesting it? At any rate, I figure I have so many issues that

heavy detox wouldn't be much different than what I go through so I just went

whole hog with the 50MG. Is that dangerous for some reason?
