Guest guest
Definately don't take it before the test, you will have a flawed result.... In fact, best not to take it the night before either....... . > > So, my bloods are booked for 8.45. Guest guest
No, you take no thyroid hormone replacement before having your blood tested. Take it with you and take it straight after the blood draw. Expect your TSH to be completely suppressed, your free T4 to be lower and your free T3 to be around the middle of the reference range,. If you took T3 on the morning of the test, the free t3 would be right at the top of the range, or even outside of it and this would terrify the poor doc. into stopping your T3 and telling you to go back onto t4. Luv - Sheila I started taking Erfa 4 weeks ago, so this is my first blood test since. I tend to take one grain of 60 at 6.45am and another at 4pm. Before this I was on 100 micro grammes of levothyroxine daily. So, my bloods are booked for 8.45. I want to get a good idea of my T4 and T3 levels - do I take the Erfa first thing like normal or wait till after the test? _,___
