Dear

All

I

wish to sincerely apologise to for me inadvertently giving the

impression that she had anything to do with the unwelcome message that 'Kris of

London' wrote in the DM. There is absolutely no connection between the

two of them whatsoever, apart from the way I had stupidly addressed my message.

I

responded to her message by writing 'Hi ' and then decided to add the

name of Kris alongside, as I knew he/she was obviously a member of TPA and

would be reading the messages too. I cannot apologise enough, because the way I

had put their names together gave a wrong impression. Please forgive me

- I feel so embarrassed and sorry about any upset this

thoughtlessness on my part may have caused you.

My

sincere apologies once again.

Luv

- Sheila

Hi Sheila

I've just

read the latest TPA digest, and am concerned you think that it was me who made

critical remarks about TPA's conduct as I have not done, and would never

dream of doing so. I am not " Kris " and I have no idea who this

person is. I only joined the TPA group this summer. I think you are

doing a magnificent job, and I have learned such a lot from the other members.

For me

finding TPA after reading the article about Gayle Coyler's experiences in

the Daily Mail on 3 July has been a revelation and enormous help as I was quite

unaware that there were other forms of thryoid treatment to levothyroxine, and

that there were many others worse off than me. My name on the Daily Mail

comments is " Chrissie K " as you have to choose a name that no-one

else has chosen. My personal comment was that many people are not

being diagnosed hypothyroid due to the current blood test level of 10 or

dismissed by their GP's with comments like " its all in the mind, depression,

not exercising enough, your age " etc so it is no wonder they are

self-medicating. I didn't mention the TPA at all!

All my

own Doctor wants to do is put me on statins which I am determined not to take.

My e-mail

to the group was sincere. I am sorry if I have misread your intention.
