symptoms of underactive thyroid still

Hi looking for some help for my husband.. He has been on levothyroxine since

year 2000 gradually increasing doses due to results and has now been on 175 mg

since 2006 However he still has all the symptoms of underactive thyroid ie

hair loss , corner of eyebrows gone very dry skin( really bad) and weight gain.

Doctors basically said nothing to do with thyroid as levels ok so just cream

for dry skin and just get on with alopecia. He is now at his wits end any advice

appreciated.
