Guest guest
Just a WAG, wild ass guess, from taking bicarbonate enema's, the iodine, as bicarbonate does, goes straight into the blood, If you like trekking on the edge, try those, similiar to using a nebulizer with iodine. It could be that the symptom is telling you, you have a bunch of crap in your blood, that needs flushing out, either bacterial, fungal and possibly viral, or it could be halogens. I take a tablespoon of dmso with my iodine, and it seems to flush out the bad boys, without any symptoms. DMSO is a diuretic. A dose of halogens is what the anesthesiologist gives you to put your brain to sleep. A mixture of four molecules of flouride, two molecules of bromide, and two of chlorine, of course you get a bucketful, If you enjoy that feeling, when waking from anesthesia, then you may not wish to take iodine. Everyone is different, Of course I do not like it, I would rather be mentally alert. david lubbock tx.

Guest guest
A very good site to visit for candida and other health problems is www.knowthecause.com . Doug Kaufmann has researched this subject for over 40 years. Besides a diet void of empty carbs (pasta, rice, potatoes etc which turn to sugar in the body and feed the yeast) he recommends Lugol's and other important materials for helping the body get rid of yeasts, molds, candida. Guest guest
Do you eat nuts (you EFAs)? I eat 1-1/2 c per day. My husband is 6'3" and I have him eat just as much. It helps him not eat as much bread. I'm only 5'4" but I don't eat any grains and my weight is fine. People on my diet (SCD) don't eat any grains and hold their weight with nut products, coconut, olive oils, avocados.... Guest guest
My problem is daily diarrhea. I can't eat too many nuts as they will aggravate my stomach too much. I used to eat lots of avocados which are quite fattening but since following the FODMAPS diet i can't eat them at the moment. I did do the SCD diet for a while but it allows honey and other things which when you have SIBO and Candida it's not ideal. I push heavy weights to maintain bulk but my waist and face are quite thin.
