Guest guest
Hello Susie I don't know the answer to this, but there are other adrenal extracts out there, like: http://www.mandimart.co.uk/adrenal-cortex-50mg-by-thorne-research-60-capsules-71\ 9-p.asp You can get this from iherb too, and I think it works out a bit cheaper but mandimart always dispatch very quickly so i guess it's a choice between saving money or getting it quicker I don't think this has yeast in but I cannot be sure. could you take this and supplement the B vitamins separately? chris > > I'm yeast intolerant and prone to candida, so yeast is a no-no for me. So when I was looking at starting NAXs earlier in the year, I tried to find out whether the b vits in them were derived from yeast. Nutri wouldn't tell me, but they told Sheila, who helpfully contacted them for me, that they're fine. Yet now another friend of mine has told me they've definitely got yeast in them. >
Guest guest
Here is the link which shows the ingredients in NAX. It doesn't mention yeast but it does not say it is yeast free. Iherb.com will always list this on their products. http://www.yournutritionshop.com/shopexd.asp?id=657 Cheers, JOT Yet now another friend of mine has told me they've definitely got yeast in them. > > Does anyone have a definitive answer on this one? Guest guest
Hi Susie, Suppose the answer has to be, why would the manufacturers of NAX lie to Sheila and what was the source of your friends information? I tried to find out whether the b vits in them were derived from yeast. Nutri wouldn't tell me, but they told Sheila, who helpfully contacted them for me, that they're fine. Guest guest
Susie, I have just written to ask them again. Will let you know when they contact me with their response. Luv - Sheila I'm yeast intolerant and prone to candida, so yeast is a no-no for me. Does anyone have a definitive answer on this one? I react to so much stuff, I've really got to sort this out and get it right. TPA is not medically qualified. Guest guest
Thanks everyone - especial thanks to Sheila. Various people have said in the past that the b vits in them are derived from yeast, so I do want to make doubly sure. I think it's worth doing as so many of us have issues with yeast - and then perhaps the answer can be put in the file on nutri, so others no for the future. - your point is a good one, but I don't think for one moment they lied to Sheila. I know Sheila was asking them about various different ingredients at the time, so they might have missed the yeast when they told her they were ok for me to take. Guest guest
HI Susie, B vitamins are no longer made from yeast as this was causing so many issues - years ago (1970) yes and suspectible people (like myself) kept getting thrush so it was stopped. So don't worry no yeast in them Best wishes Mandy
