Guest guest
Potassium iodide salt, looks like white salt, and when mixed with wateris almost clear and very stable, it is composed of elemental/molecular iodine seventy percent and thirty percent Potassium. so very stable.Elemental iodine is not stable it is an oxidizer, which means it will react with something else. It will severely discolor most everything it comes in contact with. If it finds potassium or sodium, it will link up and of course became potassium iodide or sodium iodide. So technically lugols iodine is mostly elemental iodine and a little bit of potassium. Jacky, I mix the elemental iodine with ethyl alcohol, so it will hold a charge, as water will not hold a charge. My cayce machine applies a negative charge to it, and cells are positively charged, so they are attracted to each other, and the iodine enters the cell quickly unaided. Potassium iodide is water based and cannot be charged, and it cannot enter a living cell unaided. But the body has ways of getting it into cells. Potassium iodide is bestus for detox, as the other halogen chemicals bromid/flouride, chlorine grab a free electron, called oxidation, from the potassium iodide ion, and then the bromide etc become neutered, harmless, and are passed out of the body through the kidneys. The potassium iodide ion then after losing a free electron, becomes elemental iodine. It's an oxidative chemical process. david lubbock tx.
