Guest guest
Thanks, that's great. I have quite a few friends who are too exhausted and brain dead to read much, so any informative videos are really useful. Guest guest
Dr Peatfield or are you hiding some secret doctor from us lol I think that the doctors which are the best are actually the doctors which suffer or have suffered from that illness. I know Dr peatfield takes armor and that Dr lowe takes Slow Release T3, other doctors just dont have a clue as they have never gone through the ups and the downs of the illness. An endo i recently visited was looking at my old thyroid bloods and was like i doubt you have ever been hypo since all your bloods are in range, well yeh i unleashed for about 20 minutes on him hehe Im actually going to try and educate this doctor a bit tho as althought he was kinda the usual bta gmc guidlines ect he actually really seems like he wants to help people.(he was already 1 hour behind schedule and he let me go over my appointment time by about 1 hour also, he had alot of time for me) I have to take with me so far the RT3 website as he doesnt believe in RT3 and i think if you read that whole website you would think different, and i am also going to give him this youtube link in the hope he sees you can be in range but still hypo. Guest guest
HI STEVE My GP appeared OK with me seeing DR PEATFIELD and in turn has asked to be kept informed of what DR P advises, but could my GP suffer from this illness as he is in turn overweight, and could he in fact be looking for some advice, or could he simply be over eating. He has also been OK with me taking my own T3, but did mention that it must be costing me a lot. The problem is that the NHS do not prescribe the brand that DR PEATFIELD mentioned that has not had the nasty effect that the prescribed NHS T3 had on me. One also has to wonder just how much training is given to a GP on Thyroid problems, but in turn could they recognise the problem in themselves, let alone admit it at their reviews or anything else come to that. Some Doctors may also come back to work after some infection, without the abilty to recognise if they are fully recovered only to end up barking back at a sick patient which does neither any good.
