changing from nutri-meds porcine to efra

my past posts will show my wife had the problem of terrible side effects after

having been prescribed 'levothyroxine' for her hypothyroidism (following a

partial thyrodectomy some 30 years ago)

Usual problems with ENDO, would not even consider anything else.

After much research on this site, we decided to try self medicating with

'Nutri-Meds Porcine Throid'. Side effects from 'Levothyroxine' disappeared

immediately on their cessation. Built up Nutri-Meds slowly to 5 tablets a day

with great improvement.

We now wish to change from Nutri-Meds to Efra 60 mg tablets and would be

grateful for any information on how to change from one to the other- dosage,

time frame, etc.

any help would be much appreciated as we are self medicating.
