Guest guest
I made our Lugol's 5% based on 's recipe. In that post with the recipes it says at one point " assuming 70 drops per teaspoon. " We measured and repeatedly got 140 drops/teaspoon. So we assumed that it would take TWO of our drops of 5% to equal 6.25 mg, and we've been taking our doses based on that. BUT, I awoke this morning and realized that made the comment about 70 drops/teaspoon in the paragraph with the 10% Lugol's, and since drop size is dependent on weight of liquid... the drops/teaspoon for 10% would most likely be different than 5%. I searched online for " number of drops in a teaspoon " and got 50, 60, and 70 (but all referencing water). We got 140 drops with three different droppers we had in the house. If you've read this far and your head isn't spinning, any idea how many drops/teaspoon you get with your Lugol's 5%? At this point I've no idea if I've been taking about 150 mg/day, or 300. PS. It's okay if your laughing at me, I'm laughing at me.
