I am sensitive to many supplements including the nutri, but these were fine for

me:

http://www.mandimart.co.uk/adrenal-cortex-50mg-by-thorne-research-60-capsules-71\

9-p.asp

you can get them a bit cheaper from iherb but Mandi dispatches from the UK and

you should get them much quicker - tradeoff between cost or speed, i suppose.

are you sure it's the b6 in the nutri that's affecting you ? I couldn't

tolerate anything with the whole adrenal extract in, i can only tolerate the

cortex only products

Thanks for your response.

Re: Supplements

I wouldn't recommend that supplement. First, the magnesium is the oxide form, which is the cheapest form and why companies use it, but it's not bioavailable, so you're not really getting that mg amount. And, the mag amount is 310mg, when the minimum for the iodine protocl is 400mg.Second, in order to get the iodine-protocol minimum for selenium of 200mcg, you'd have to take 4 capsules (double the listed dose), which then gives a person 600+mg of magnesium (and 50mg of zinc). Many people can't take that much magnesium because it initiates diarrhea. And again, this form of selenium is not the best form, although it's ok. It has no Vitamin C.In order to remain in control of your supplements, it's better to take individual ones so that you can change the amounts as needed without throwing off your other supplement amounts. So again, I cannot recommend this supplement.--moderatorOn 30 Jan 2012 at 22:39, none wrote:> Sighted this:> http://www.thyroid-complex.com/ThyroidComplex/View-Label/> > Too high in Zinc, but probably less fiddly than taking seperate> individual supplements.> > At the moment they are having a 'buy 3 get 2 free special', and those> in the US and Canada get free postage.> > > > ------------------------------------> > Owner: Buist, ND HC> Moderators: Baker, Kathleen Blake, Donna Iler, Linn > > All off topic posts should go to the IodineOT group > IodineOT/> > > The NEW MEMBER DOCUMENT (#1 on the list)> iodine/files/01%20NEW%20MEMBERS%2> 0-%20READ%20FIRST/

I'm wondering about the dosage of Vitamin B2 in the ATP. I could not take this

as niacin is not recommended for glaucoma patients. The dosage for B2 on the

ATP is 100 mg. I bought the B2 (riboflavin) as a single vitamin at the same dose

- 100mg. The supplement facts say that this is 5882% the recommended daily dose.

My question is this: I do not want to take this large amount so should I take it

once weekly to bring it down to 1/7th the dose which would still be 840% the

RDA?

Dear PeggyThis is the first I have heard that B2 is not good for glaucoma patients. Do you have a reference on what the negative effects are? I have NTG so I am concerned that this applies to me also. StanOn Jan 31, 2012, at 12:52 PM, enmuffins wrote:
