Guest guest
You don't leave off your levothyroxine for 7 days before starting NA - you leave it out for 7 days when you START taking NA. However, not to worry, the longer you can stay off thyroid hormone replacement when starting NAE the better. You can start tomorrow taking NA - one with breakfast, and on the 8th day, you can add back your levothyroxine in the dose you were taking it before you stopped. On the same day, add another NA but take this tablet with your lunch (never take NA on an empty stomach or after 1.00p.m.) If you still have adrenal symptoms, add another NA with breakfast after 10/14 days and see how you feel then. You can take up to 6 NA daily, but if you still have symptoms, this may be an indication that you need a short course of HC. Luv - Sheila I have left off taking my Levothyroxine for one week as I plan to start taking NutriAdrenoMax tomorrow. Once I`ve started on the NAX how long do I have to wait before going back on the Levothyroxine? Thanks, Jane
Guest guest
OMG Sheila that means I`ve got to go another 7 days without it, that`ll be 14 days in total. Just hope I won`t revert too far back into hypo symptoms before starting it again - I`m already feeling the affects of going without for 7 days ! I think I`m ultra sensitive as I could feel an improvement after 18 hrs of taking it and then the decline when stopping it. Would it be too naughty to start my Levo after say 4 days? Guest guest
Yes Jane, I think in your circumstances, that would be OK, but DO give yourself those four days. Take also high doses of vitamin C - this is vital - you need about 3/4000mgs when taking NAE to help with absorption.
