Guest guest
Is it possible to eat too much Celtic Sea Salt? Since I started using Celtic, I've lost my craving for Lays Potato Chips, but now I have at least a tablespoon of Celtic a day. Could that be too much of a good thing? Thanks, Marge

When you don't need it, it tastes unbelievably strong and way too salty. I drank only salt water (1/2 tsp per 8 oz) for years, because I couldn't absorb unsalted water - it would sit for hours in my stomach. Salted water tasted refreshing and quenched my thirst. It's been 10 years now, and I mostly drink unsalted water. Occasionally I need salt - I can can feel it when my back muscles start getting tired (burning feeling) and tight upon very minimal exertion (doing the dishes). There are some concerns about trace minerals (manganese, boron etc) and getting too much of them from sea salt. I used kosher salt for this reason but never noticed a difference.
