I've never been pregnant but I had anaemia which didn't respond to iron

supplements, exhaustion/brain fog which was put down to possible ME but the Dr

said that a lot of Drs don't believe ME exists, I had a lot of pain in the left

side of my face, neck, shoulder and arm with endless rounds of pysio which

didn't work, and I had a lot of skin problems that nobody seemed to know the

cause of at all.

I was told nothing wrong for 2 years and offered antidepressants, which I

refused. I was very tired and getting fatter, but then my thyroid speeded up

and I lost tons of weight and couldn't keep still. Doctor took one look and

said thyroid.

1968 - Post natal depression - told to snap out of it and told off for my Mum

calling doc out.

1979 onwards - Anxiety and prescribed beta blockers, then anti-depressants.

1992 - 1993 - Frozen shoulders (first one then the other)

1998 - Told Manic episode and Nervous Breakdown aggravated by menopause -

Anti-depressants

2001 - Depression again, more anti-depressants.

2002 - Tinnitus (which I still have)

2005 - Depression again, more anti-depressants

High cholesterol, put on statins.

2006 - Diagnosed Hyperthyroid - put on Carbimazole

2007 - Taken off Carbimazole and discharged from Endo as thyroid test normal.

Had to stay on anti-depressants.

2009 - 2011 - told Rheumatoid Arthritis which was eventually discounted, then

told Fibromyalgia and Osteo Arthritis by Rheumatology consultant, then told

Sleep Apnoea by Respiration Consultant (which I do have).

It was the Sleep Apnoea technician that finally wrote to my GP and said that my

sleep apnoea was being treated successfully but as I still had no improvement in

my symptoms would he re-assess. By that time I had to drag myself in a taxi to

surgery and he could see I was half dead and put me on Levo. Since found out

(through own tests) I`m Hashis so its an Auto-Immune prob.

So I`m sure its been there lurking for over 40 years. What a palaver ! Glad I`ve

eventually found this forum and the kind people who help.
