What is happening when I feel like this?

Hi everyone

When I do physical activity (yesterday I painted a fence panel, planted 6 shrubs

and filled five rubble bags half full with gravel from the garden) - a few hours

later - after I have had a long bath and am resting - do I feel absolutely dire?

I have Hashimoto's and take 175mg of levo.

My heart seems like it is beating madly, I have pins and needle sensations in my

lips and skin, everything feels tight and tense, my breathing feels shallow and

unrefreshing and my head feels so tight it feels like it's bursting.

This goes on for anything up to 24 hours and feels quite scary at times.

I wondered if this was something that other people experience or there is anyone

in the group who can throw any light on the phsyiology of what is happening in

my body?

Any feedback that could help me understand this would be very much appreciated.

Regards

Lynne

Hi Lynne

All that work would have probably finished me off, I coulnd't have done 1/10th

of it!

I think even for anyone healthy, that would have been an awful lot of work.

Have you looked into adrenal fatigue?

Have you also done the Hertoghe questionnaire, to see what if anything there

indicates what your symptoms might fit? Go to Files, medical questionnaires and

look for the Dr Hertoghe questionnaire

Do you normally do that much physical activity? Or was yesterday an unusual

day? If you don't normally do much, then i just wonder if your body isn't used

to doing so much - i know mine isn't and cannot do that much.
