Guest guest
Hi Y'all, I found this article - rather interesting. I read more than a few posts of women/people starting out slow on iodine, but not really noticing any difference until (they were comfortable) and started taking up to 50mg per day. THIS BELOW might possibly offer a little more information as to WHY; particularly IF you happen to have, or have HAD a number of mercury fillings over the years. I've no doubt that many of us have! I just thought I'd share this with you all. http://theiodineproject.webs.com/areyoudeficient.htm " The more fillings you have, the more mercury you will find in your body contributing to your illnesses and low iodine content. Some people require a loading dose of iodine (50mg) for 3 months to push enough heavy metals out in order to increase bodily absorption of iodine. Guest guest
Hello to all: I understand the problem with the amalgam fillings. I have many of them in my mouth unfortunately. So my question is this: okay, 50mg of iodoral is necessary for 3 months to free the receptors in the body to receive iodine. So then, do the fillings have to be removed first and then go through the iodine treatment?? I have tried to take Iodoral several times and have gained alot of weight in a short amt of time. So I am not taking iodine at this time, would like to though eventually. How do I approach this all?? I am also in the process of liver cleansing as promoted by s Moritz (The Liver and Gallbladder Miracle Cleanse). I think a healthy liver is key to recovery also. I just don't know about the way to go about this all so I would appreciate any comments. Thank you to everyone on this discussion list; the info here is most appreciated. Sincerely and with thanks, Sandy G. > > Hi Y'all, > > I found this article - rather interesting. > > I read more than a few posts of women/people starting out slow on iodine, but not really noticing any difference until (they were comfortable) and started taking up to 50mg per day.
