Guest guest
I have been taking thyroid meds since I was 19. I am now 70. I started taking Iodoral last October. I woke up Christmas morning with atrial fibrillation. I had a successful cardioversion on May 10. I still have PAC's which means that the A-Fib is likely to come back. I have reduced my Naturethroid from 3.5 grains to 2.5 grains. I'm thinking of reducing Naturethroid to 2 grains and adding Iodoral, starting with a small dose and gradually increasing. Does anyone have any experience with heart rhythm and iodine? I've never taken selenium and I'm thinking of taking selenium with the Iodoral. I have never liked the taste of salt and have mostly avoided salt all my life. Just recently, I have started taking a bit of RealSalt with a glass of water. Somewhere I read that Prolamine was better and somewhere else I read that Iodoral is better. Wow, I'm confused. Thank you to the moderator for giving of your time to tend to this group and thanks to anyone who might reply. Blessings, Norine
