Guest guest
That is wonderful news! Thank you so much for sharing with us. Just think how thick and lustrous your hair will be once you add the companion nutrients! =-) Kathleen My hair isn't falling out! I thought it's natural, normal, when you run your fingers thru your hair like a comb, a dozen or so loose hairs come out. When you shampoo in the shower, you end up with a small clump of hair in the hair catcher over the drain. That's why they sell hair catchers! Last night I ran my fingers thru my hair, looked at the loose hairs trapped between my fingers as usual, but there weren't any loose hairs! Huh? Did it again, one hair. Realized the past couple of showers no little mat of hair to pull off the drain screen. You mean, it's not normal healthy to have loose hairs come out every time you wash or brush your hair?I've been on iodine maybe 6 weeks, worked up to 50 mg every morning, not gotten around to the companion nutrients yet, so it hasn't been long and I'm not doing it "right," and yet I newly discover my hair isn't falling out!Makes me wonder what else I assume "natural normal healthy" -- isn't. Guest guest
I just now did a search for " hair loss iodine " and bumped into Ted on Earthclinic saying hair loss is often caused by fungus attacking the root of the hair, iodine (or several other substances) can stop hair loss because iodine is an anti-fungal. Which makes me notice that my head usually itches after being washed (n local water anyway, not always when I travel), but it isn't itching today. Possibly the iodine/hair not falling out connection is not dietary need on the cellular level, but the bug-killer aspect of iodine. I didn't apply any iodine topically, so if it's the bug killer effect, interesting that it works from inside the body to improve what is at or near skin level. > > I thought it's natural, normal, when you run your fingers thru your hair like a comb, a dozen or so loose hairs come out.
