Guest guest
Welcome Anmarie, has several research articles posted that you can see. I hope you are reading his book. I also recommend that you visit www.autismmedia.com - There are lots of video clips of the who-who is the autism community that is taking on the debate. I also like the book Children with Starving Brains by J. McCandless Kathy H introduce myself Hi, My name is Anmarie and I have for children with autism spectrum disorder. I knew about the debate with mercury going on, but have to admit that I didn't research it further. I was under the understanding that mercury was no longer used in the vaccines. I am hoping that someone can direct me where to go to do more research. AOL now offers free email to everyone. Find out more about what's free from AOL at AOL.com. Welcome to the group. I'm so glad you have an open mind to learn about the dangers of vaccines. As far as a doctor goes, many people on this list believe if your child isn't sick, there is no need to go to the doctor for well baby visits. If it is an emergency, you wouldn't take your child to the doctor anyway, you would go to the hospital. This thought is foreign to many parents, so it's just something more (like you don't have enough) to think about. Guest guest
Hi Lori, welcome.....I tried to argue with my doctor too, but it is pointless, they are so convinced that vaccines have saved the world and that if a few children get injured or killed by them, then it is for the greater good. Sorry, but I would not sacrifice my child for the greater good and not for the whole world, and I'm sure every parent feels the same. So don't argue with the all knowing doctor cause they always counter your info with some ridiculous false statistics, just refuse the vaccines and remember it is nobody's business but yours. Guest guest
Hi my name is Issy. I have been diagnosed hypothyroidism in 2009 through the blood test and have taken the Levothyroxine 50mcg medication. For the few first months, I have lost some weight (approx 3 stones) and felt energetic. Prior to this I have no symptoms to show hypothyroidism. A few months later, I had another blood test and it showed still undertreated so the doctor decided to increase the dosage to 100mcg. A few weeks later I felt very ill, with flu type symptoms and back/hip pain. By Christmas 2009 I had suspected ovarian cyst and it turned out that it was not the case and it was a muscle pain. In the early months of 2010 my body felt shaking internally and also felt there was some sort of whooshing around the body. Also I developed nausea and anxiety for no reason. On my next hospital clinic, I told them I was having this and they decided to reduce the dosage to 75mcg. I felt much better, and I had little hypothyroidism symptoms throughout the summer. By Autumn I had another routine blood test and my thyroid function test showed undertreated and oh no, they decided to increase the dosage back to 100mcg. I felt ill and my hypothyroidism symptoms got worse – more fatigue, less energy and stamina, more muscle/joint pains, headaches, bloating stomach, heavy menstruation, intolerance to cold and many more. I had a lot of nausea after taking the medication each morning. My GP and the hospital consultant agreed to change the tablet medication to an oral solution medication also named Levothyroxine. But it is still a roller coaster for me to experience the hypothyroidism symptoms on a daily basis. I have a lot of time off work during the winter season and sometimes I'm afraid I might lose my job which I love. Now I'm experiencing dry mouth, dry throat and a bit hot, also feeling burning in my arms and legs. Now I'm fed up of the lingering hypothyroid symptoms. Anyone help??? My GP and the endocrinologist are saying my thyroid levels are normal. Issy
Guest guest
Hi My recent lab results were: TSH - 0.9 T4 - 16 Ferritin - just tiny above the normal level according to my GP. No supplements at present. Due to see the endocrinologist in December - he gave me the blood test request form for U & E + Calcium, LFTs, B12, Testosterone, FSH, LH, TFT (TSH & fT4), Ferritin, FBC and Coeliac Screen (must be taken in early December). I'm not menopausal yet but have heavy menstruation since Monday. I'm ok sleeping but sometimes the whooshing feeling around my body, particularly in my legs kept me waking. Issy > > Hi Issy: > > Do you have any recent lab results you can give us along with reference ranges?
