Hi Jacquie -I sent the link to the Newsletter to the forum

and I also sent it to every one of our 2583 members individually by way of a

'Special Notice'. Nobody is excluded. Sending out 'Special Notices' means that

every member receives them individually because some members never read the

messages on the forum. I have checked your registration details and see that

you opted to receive messages via 'Special Notices' only. If you have not

received it in your Inbox as a special notice, I would suggest that you check

your Spam or Junk Mail. Will you please check this and let me know.

Sheila

I'm not sure if I am the only one NOT to have

received this in my Inbox, that is, it it was meant to go out to all members

via email.

Dear Member, at last, we have got around to completing the TPA's Autumn Newsletter 2011. You will see that this is a quite a bonus edition and I hope you enjoy it. Once the newsletter got started, information appeared to come in from right, left and centre and we hadn't room for everything, but please do take time to read all the articles and information, as we know you will thoroughly enjoy it. We would like to thank all those who contributed to making this a success, with especial thanks to Jess for putting all this together so professionally http://www.tpa-uk.org.uk/newsletters/newsletter_oct11.pdf

If you would like to make a contribution in our next newsletter (Spring 2012), or if you have ideas of how we can make improvements, please send them to [sheila@...]

Happy reading.

I never received this in my inbox. I do not have a spam folder as Virgin just stop things they think is spam, but on looking at their website, where they keep the spam, it isn't there either.

I have it through the main group though.

I cannot see any reference to be able to listen to the speaches again.

Is there anybody else that has not receive the link to the

Newsletter in your Inbox? Everybody should have receive this. There are live

links you click on to listen to the speeches Lilian in the first part with

links to the Questions and Answers also. http://www.tpa-uk.org.uk/newsletters/newsletter_oct11.pdf

If there are any more responses saying that people have not

received this, I will send it again. I just hope that this is not one of the

glitches we usually get after they have been updating their forums.

Hi Sheila

Just to say I received this no problem and links to live speeches worked fine -

in fact I listened to a few last night that were really interesting!

Brilliant work - thank you so much

Hi Sheila

Sorry, my mistake. I must have inadvertently set up a rule for your messages to

automatically go into an unrelated folder. After a search, I have found many I

have not received since July and have now made sure they go into my Inbox.

The sound links work fine and the Newsletter is amazing. Thank you for all your

hard work.

HI SHEILA,

Having been busy over the last two days sorting out my computer and having to

rejoin the group with my new reverted maiden name and email address, I have not

received this 2011 Autumn newsletter, and it is not in the spam folder, and I

have not come acrossed it in my old emails. Are you able to send me one.

Hi Sheila

Thanks for posting this. It was good to be able to listen to the talks by Dr S and Dr P, as I wasn't able to make it to the meeting in June. Very informative

Sheila is on a break at the moment.   The link worked for me by the way.   See if this works it is Dr. Peatfield's talk http://www.tpa-uk.org.uk/meeting_mp3s/skipton_2011/2%20Dr%20Peatfield's%20speech%2044m%2054s.mp3   and this is the dentists http://www.tpa-uk.org.uk/meeting_mp3s/skipton_2011/3%20Dr%20%20Reconstructed%20Total%2028m%2052s.mp3

By the way when replying to messages could you please make sure you only leave a few lines from the message you are replying to and erase the rest of the message and everything else.Lilian

If anyone has lost the email giving details of the newsletter, you can always

just go to the website and click on the link on the right hand column....

http://www.tpa-uk.org.uk/

I just listened to several of the speeches via the links, which ones are you

having a problem with?

my dear Shiela and all my fiends here

yes I did try, and have no idea where the post went :( Memory being what it is I

will do my best to say again how I really enjoyed the newsletter. How I was able

to only so far listen to a couple of the fantastic talks (Dr P and the nice

dentist guy) ('way to go Dr P' brilliant) the site and forum are still cutting

edge and fantastic, I am so happy to read of recoveries here and all the great

work you are doing.

You look so great Shiela I was happy to see:)

Wanted to say I think the newsletter gave me a little hope again even though my

muscles are so weak typing this is a killer.

Even though I am so complex after 30 yrs of polypharmacy and t4, hearing speech

and reading here still gives me hope

A big thank you and

lotsa luv

God bless you. barbara peters. my free t 4 is rather low with the free t 3 being above normal, TSH low, i will have the new results soon, but blood isn't reliable according to dr. peatfield, i have the book and am trying to understand all he presents in the book. not easy at first.

hi sheila,

thanks for posting my results. how will i ever know if i get an answer. i have to go to , i guess.someone will have to help me. also , is it true that when you are really sick, you can;'t use armour even and have to use just T3. does the armour have anti-thyroid drugs in it from giving to the pigs. i see things on the forum and rarely do they get answered. i really don't know how this support group works. maybe i'm too sick and mentally confused to deal with this. thanks anyway.
