Guest guest
Hello: For those of you who don't know the benefits of Iodine, let me read you what Dr.Brownstein had to say about this in his book, "Drugs that Don't Work and NATURAL THERAPIES THAT DO". Page 98 - "I have found that Type 2 Diabetic patients can often stop their oral medications after Iodine supplementation, as their blood sugar dramatically improves". I had a couple of people write to me because they were SURPRISED when I wrote in about NO LONGER BEING DIABETIC. This is a known fact and MORE READING would educate Diabetics about this. I am really ignorant to posting and sending messages. I have no idea what I am doing. I am ignorant about computers in general. I only purchased a computer so I can get some advice about helping better treat my diabetes. Please reply if you get this message. I send you this same message a few minutes ago: Dear Bonnie, Bonnie I don't know if you will get this message or not, but I pray that you will, I have heard you got rid of your diabetes when taking a combination of metformin and iodine. I am suffering horribly from this disease(many complications). I just wanted to know if it is true? can you elaborate? What exactly is your status? Do you still take medication? Have you had a glucose toleerance test? Please educate me on exactly what your status is, because I am kind of thinking that the iodine has caused you to cut down on your meds. Please, Bonnie get back in touch with me when you get a chance, and let me know what your status is regarding your diabetes. I will be enternally grateful if you would. Thank you. Guest guest
it is true that if you follow a stringent diet that you can control type 2 diabetes depending on how bad the disease is. but you can never go off that stringent diet because as soon as you do, your sugar goes up again. so that isn't being cured, it is just getting under control. diane, near philly, pa On Nov 6, 2011, at 7:21 AM, david kenna wrote: this link for "scientific proof" that diabetes can be overcome through diet. This has been well known for decades in alternative, natural health movement!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-13887909http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2011/jun/24/low-calorie-diet-hope-cure-diabetesFrom: Elbert67 <evaughn312@...>iodine Sent: Sunday, 6 November 2011, 2:46Subject: Re: Attention Diabetics > > Hello: > > For those of you who don't know the benefits of Iodine, let me read you what > Dr.Brownstein had to say about this in his book, "Drugs that Don't Work and > NATURAL THERAPIES THAT DO". > > Page 98 - "I have found that Type 2 Diabetic patients can often stop their > oral medications after Iodine supplementation, as their blood sugar > dramatically improves". > > I had a couple of people write to me because they were SURPRISED when I > wrote in about NO LONGER BEING DIABETIC. Guest guest
It was my understanding in reading this article that after 2 months of the diet, the participants went back to a normal healthy calorie allotment diet (were advised on good food choices and portion sizes). At that point the participants were retested and 7 of the 10 still no longer needed diabetes medications. I think what the study is saying is rather than a slow diet change and months/years of work to get the weight down to help their type 2 diabetes, a drastic diet change like this works better and quicker, then they can go to a life long diet/lifestyle change. -- > > > > > > Hello: > > > > > > For those of you who don't know the benefits of Iodine, let me > > read you what > > > Dr.Brownstein had to say about this in his book, " Drugs that Don't > > Work and > > > NATURAL THERAPIES THAT DO " . > > > > > > Page 98 - " I have found that Type 2 Diabetic patients can often > > stop their > > > oral medications after Iodine supplementation, as their blood sugar > > > dramatically improves " . > > > > > > I had a couple of people write to me because they were SURPRISED > > when I > > > wrote in about NO LONGER BEING DIABETIC. Guest guest
oh i understand that. i did the same. but the minute i couldn't uphold that diet (way of life) my sugars went up. that really isn't a cure it is just good management. and i am not saying it doesn't happen, just you can never deviate from that food or way of eating. the minute you do the cure is done. that is all i am saying. i was a 5.9 when i was walking and watching my food intake. but when my father died and i had care of my mother with alzheimers, meals were late, ordered out, etc. and i am now battling trying to get things under control again. diane, near philly, pa On Nov 7, 2011, at 12:36 AM, dAVId wrote: Dr. Brownstein tells many of his patients with type II diabetes are cured with iodine therapy.I was taking glucophage, and no longer require that, nor do I need blood pressure meds.Iodine fixed them both, and other things as well, But it does take larger doses, over a hundred mgs daily, I take 220mgs daily and cannot take more, or I cannot keep weight on. And I do eat well, david lubbock tx.
