How do I get a prescription for Lugol's 5%?

Hi,

I went to a local compounding pharmacy in Michigan to inquire about ordering

Lugol's 5% iodine solution.

They said they can order eith 14ml or 16oz sizes. I know it is not covered by

insurance and I am paying the full cost out of pocket for the solution.

The pharmacist told me they can order me if I get a prescription.

I asked them what kind of doctor should I get the prescription from?

They said it doesn't matter, any kind of doctor such as MD, ND, holistic,

naturopathic, etc.

Can someone advise me how to get the prescription?

My regular doctor (MD) refuses to write Lugol's or armour thyroid etc.
