Guest guest
I had those frontal headaches. Wow, pretty intense, but it is a good sign. That's toxic bromine bidding adieu. And the sea salt did help stop the headache pretty quickly. Anyway, it was a transient thing. I think you're managing yourself doing very well. Nothing but zippety do-dah from now on. Peace and gratitude, Dean > > I started on two drops of the 5% Lugol's, couple of days later a funny sort of " lump " or something high in the throat, looked up Bromide detox symptoms, yup, swelling of the base of the tongue muscle. Harmless but I'm a singer, don't want unfamiliar feelings in the throat. Backed off the iodine until it went away in a few days (salt water didn't " cure " it). > > Bought the 2%, started on one drop, during a month or so increased to 20 drops (in my morning tea, yes tea has fluoride but 20 drops of 2% Lugol's has to outmatch whatever is in weak green tea). No throat issues. > > At about 16 drops - very loose bowels every morning, at 20 drops (yesterday) a fuzzy frontal headache a couple hours later (went away with salt water. Also, for a few hours after I drink the iodine there's a minimal feeling like the glands under the side of the jaw are a tad swollen, but nothing evident when I touch them. > > Two other interesting changes: > > 1. I'm (usually) sleeping through the night. At my age one naturally gets up once, groans if it has to be twice. Now two out of three days I sleep right through. > > 2. I feel good. I don't even know what I mean by that. I still have low energy, take a nap most afternoons, etc, mind still blinks out for a moment, I still forget where I put things, but in some basic underlying sense I feel good. It's like an underlying boredom or something is gone. > > Anyone else have little emotional changes that might be caused by iodine? >
