You are getting 250 mgs per day with 20 drops. That's a lot but if you are handling it and feeling well then and feel comfortable with it I would continue.

Remember you are in control of your body - not your doctor. He / she cannot force you to remove anything. Do what feels right to you.

Too much iodine too soon?

Hello,I started taking iodine 9 days ago. I started with 12 drops of IOSOL a day and when my LUGOLS 5% arrived then I jumped to 5 twice a day, then 20 twice a day and I am now at 20 twice a day. I am taking this for an ovarian cyst (my GYN was to remove it and maybe the ovary too) so I have no time to waste LOL.I do not feel any secondary symptoms (only my menstruation came back after 20 days and I am not sure the iodine caused that) and no detox yet. As a plus, my hair is falling much less than before so that was a pleasant surprise.I am taking the Vit C, the fish oil, Redmond Real Salt, Multi-vitamin, Selenium and magnesium.Is it too fast to be taking 40 drops a day? I plan to stay at this dosage.ThanksLetmar

No it is not too fast. Iodine totally helps with reproductive system problems.

It is

the iodine that brought back your period. Please give the iodine time to work

and

don't be in any hurry for surgery. Western medicine is cut happy.

If you are not suffering overmuch with detox symptoms, that is the only

guideline

for how fast and how much iodine to be taking. As you've seen, big results can

happen with larger doses. So the answer is no, it's not too fast. What is " too

fast "

is only determined by whether you can't stand the detox symptoms.

I want to thank and for answering my question. I feel so

encouraged to continue with the Iodine protocol. I will wait some time and then

re-check my ovary in a month or month and a half to see the progress.

So far I am so thrilled my hair is not falling off like before.I thought I would

become bald! Probably my body was starving for iodine and now a lot of areas

will start healing.
