Hi Kathleen, Thank you for the suggestion of salt loading. I've tried it twice a few weeks apart, but it didn't help. Do you think I should continue with it or should it have helped by now? Brigitte,I think it would help you to reread the salt document in the files. Salt loading is done when you have the symptoms, repeated every half hour or so to get your rate of urination faster. The point is to clear the junk out of your body, so you want to be urinating repeatedly in that day. You would be looking for the burning to stop within a few hours of starting when you are salt loading and urinating frequently. Are you taking any liver support? You might need some help getting your liver working better, to also get the toxins cleared out. A cleanse might really be beneficial and help the burning and cysts to clear up. If you are needing to salt load for many days, then you need to back off and get your other detox pathways working better – liver being important, colon also. I occasionally get weird breakout things from detox, they are different than

regular pimples. I had some when I first started iodine, and then after I had

taken a break and started up again at a higher dose. Salt loading helps, and I

put castor oil on the bumps (at night, because it is a little sticky), and that

seems to help a lot.

Hi Brigitte,

You mean you salt loaded once and then a few weeks later salt loaded again once? In the Commonly Asked Questions , read about Salt Loading. It is done a few times in succession until copious urination begins. So yes, I would continue it. Best, Kathleen
