Thank you for sharing your story. THIS is wonderful to know! I've no

doubt that the betonite clay IS assisting/enhancing your body's detoxification

process. May I ask WHAT type of betonite clay you are

using, and what specific product? Is it q liquid or powder form.

I use Blessed Herbs cleansing products and IT is in their products. Theirs is

the only form of betonite I've ever taken. Please inform us.

Thank you, Trisha

I think that's a great idea.. I've used that before as well..and it is a staple in my fridge... and it saved my dog's life, when he got into some rat poison... how much do you take and how long after taking the iodine do you take it?On Sep 28, 2011, at 11:22 PM, Family wrote: Hello everyone. I am new to this group and would first like to thank all of those people who have taken so much time to help those of us (like me) who are using iodine as one means of restoring our bodies to health. I would like to share my story in hopes that it might be helpful to others. I have no special training in nutrition or the medical field. I am only someone who has been sick for a long time, and has read and tried many different things in hopes of finding healing. Over the past few months I have tried to take iodine numerous times, but was unable to due to adrenal fatigue. Even a very small amount would result in headaches, fatigue, irritability, anxiety, etc. I had been taking all of the companion nutrients except selenium. After adding the selenium, I had some improvement in my symptoms, so I kept taking the iodine, and even was able to increase it to 50mg per day. But then after awhile I started feeling bad again. I didn't want to give up the iodine, so I started taking bentonite clay. All the bad symptoms went away. I have taken bentonite clay off and on for over a year and I always feel better when I take it. Among other things, bentonite clay is an excellent detoxifier, which I think must be helping with the removal of excess bromide in my body. For those who want more info on bentonite clay, here is one article: http://curezone.com/cleanse/bowel/bentonite.asp
