I'm just wondering how essential the Mg is and will my symporter issue improve

without it if I'm taking all the other companion nutrients.  I've taken cal/mag

supplements before and things improved when I went off of them.  I know someone

mentioned Mg isn't supposed to cause cramps, but it has for me.  I know this is

a Ca/Mg balance issue.  I would just rather not take anymore supplements.  I

already seem to take enough to be a meal unto itself.

ChrisFirst, you said " I've taken cal/mag supplements before and things improved when I went off of them. " It could be the calcium, not the mg!  (It would be my never humble opinion that it is.)  Take magnesium citrate or glycinate, or many of the other well absorbed supps.  DO NOT use mg oxide.

And second - all of these supplements are optional.  You decide how healthy you want to be, and respond appropriately.  Your choices range from eating brominated bread, drinking Mtn. Dew and fluoridated tap water all day, to an organic, hormone free, mostly raw food diet, lots of supps, iodine, meditation and buying a Berkey water filter.

That's the cool thing - it's your body and health.  You decide, you live with the results.-- Peace . . .
