May I ask what may sound stupid, but for expediency, would be good to know?

First, as a side note, are you one of the modurators?

* With regard to topical application of iodine:

1. Does it have to be Lugol's, or could one use Betadine (provodine iodine)?

2. And what about the old " Tincture of Iodine? "

> Can It be used, and is IT still even available anymore OTC?

Hi Trisha,

Yes, I am one of the moderators. You can paint with any kind of iodine. Although I think Lugol's would be my first choice. Best, Kathleen
