Guest guest
Would someone tell me why it is SOMETIMES better to start off at the high dose of Iodine, than to ramp up slowly? I'm afraid I don't see the difference. Someone said here today that they had some small amount of detox, probably from ramping up slowly, which I have done. Thanks for clarifying that. Guest guest
Bonnie,Everyone’s bodies react differently. For some people, too low a dose gives them exaggerated symptoms as their body gets a little iodine and is showing it needs much more. Your body recalibrates to receiving iodine. They may start with a very small amount, have bad detox symptoms or maybe swelling of the thyroid, and find that jumping to a much larger dose satisfies their body and settles down those “cravings”. For others, starting small and working their way up works well. You just have to try for yourself and see.
