Your thyroid is liking the iodine and looking for more. It is not unusual for it to swell when starting a small amount. If you go to an Endo, they will probably tell you to stop. If it is helping you feel better, then it is working, I would keep on taking it. You might want to move the amount up. That often helps the swelling to go down, because it is getting more. Donna in IL I am going to quit taking it, no doubt, but should I see an Endocrinologist to rule out the possibility of Hashimoto or any other problems?I loved the fact that within a or two day it made me " regular " and my feet were not cold anymore at night :(
