Guest guest
After a couple of times of using cream from progesterone.co.uk, I got the feeling it was the incorrect product and tried ordering from http://www.wellsprings-health.com/ instead. While I haven't noticed much of an effect, my mother has had a positive result with it. Though I hadn't seen that " original " Serenity site before, and that has caught me off guard a little. Of course it is important to avoid (as much as sensibly possible) intakes of petrochemicals and derivatives which could impede beneficial hormones being used by the body. I think the decision should weigh both on ingredients and whether you actually are feeling an improvement while using the cream.
Guest guest
Hi, Health Science is the place to get Serenity cream. Phone number for ordering is 02070963939. They also do organic Serenity. If you look in the files you can see an email I received from Health Science telling the truth about Wellsprings. Perhaps you had other issues too? I mean other deficiencies? Guest guest
Hi yes I have an under active thyroid and adrenal problems. And yes the anxiety could be caused by something else though from past experience from when I took HRT tablets under GP the anxiety totally went but came back when stopped HRT tablets so Dr. P suggested Wellspring Serenity. But wanted to try this other serenity to see how that worked as some people seem to be better on this and some on the other. I checked out the Amazon link and cannot say I have heard of that or the company. Did some research and the ingredients contain substances I am not too sure about. My main concern is the content of the Wellspring serenity and the comments made by the original company. These are both products that seem to work well for people some preferring one to the other but wonder how much scaremongering is made by the original company or whether their accusations are correct. Thanks > > >I have used Wellspring for about 6 months now and hot flushes > > went but I am still left with some anxiety. > > Perhaps you had other issues too? Guest guest
, Yes Health Science is the site I have ordered from now so I could compare products before deciding which worked the best. I only read their comments about Wellspring after I had ordered which then put me into the dilemma. I hope I get on with Health Span Serenity cream, no reason why not, and will order from them in future, though their customer service I have to admit has been apalling for my first order, and had hard time even contacting anyone to ask simple questions such as delivery etc, hopefully this improves. But what confused me is why Dr. Peatfield recomends the Wellspring Serenity and not the health science one if the Wellspring contains harmful products, I thought he was all for natural ingredients and keeping away from the bad ones. This is why I have been confused over which one should be taken. But going by what you say, what I have read I will keep away from Wellspring. I have to say they have not replied to my email yet which I sent yesterday. Normally when I email them (for advice) they respond within a few hours. Thank you all for comments, appreciated. > > Hi, > > Health Science is the place to get Serenity cream. > Phone number for ordering is 02070963939. Guest guest
I am also interested in this topic. I have tried both Wellsprings and " original " and neither of them have relieved my hot flushes. I agree with Di's comments about customer service. When I first ordered some " original " Serenity they sent me a reminder email to reorder before my first order had arrived. However, when I emailed to complain about this they did apologise, so they do responde to emails. What do other people think about the effectiveness of the creams? Miriam > I have searched previous posts here and there does seem to be a little confusion over whether to use the Wellspring or the " original " serenity cream. I have used Wellspring for about 6 months now and hot flushes went but I am still left with some anxiety. A friend suggested I tried the " original " serenity. I am still waiting for it to be delivered as it has not been despatched yet a week after ordering. > I have to say my loyalties lay with Wellspring, they have always been so helpful over the phone, delivery has be super quick whereas so far the original company doesnt respond to emails, product still not despatched even though a week since I ordered. > The original company sells from here: http://www.progesterone.org.uk/ > Wellspring from here: http://www.progesterone.co.uk/

Guest guest
My twopenneth! As described on a thread several months ago I got one pot of serenity from the channel isles, worked well, second pot looked different (flower colour on label) and did not work at all, got a pot from the source down south (?cornwall?) did not work, got a blue tube from progesterone.com in USA, did not work, but then changed to emerita pro-gest which I have been using 3+ months and it's great. I get it from http://www.vitasunn.co.uk/ The staff are very helpful too which suits me. Good luck in your quest to find which one is best for you
Guest guest
Probably Dr Peatfield is not aware of any controversy between these two firms as many people are not. Guest guest
Sue, I had a notification from that a new document had been posted in our FILES section about natural progesterone cream, but when I clicked on the link I was told 'no document found. If you want to send it to me [sheila@...] as an attachment, I will upload it for you. Guest guest
Hi, I understand that not many will know about the controversy, but what concerns me is content of medication. I would like it to be as natural as possible and wonder just how harmful Wellspring's added chemicals are. Is the original company correct in what they say in which case should we stay away from Wellspring altogether even if their cream works better than another. What damage are those chemicals doing us..... umm ... why can't things just be straightforward. I've half a mind not to take any serenity at all rather than cause myself even more problems taking the wrong one. > > Probably Dr Peatfield is not aware of any controversy between these two > firms as many people are not. > > Luv - Sheila > > But what confused me is why Dr. Peatfield recomends the Wellspring Serenity > and not the health science one if the Wellspring contains harmful products, > I thought he was all for natural ingredients and keeping away from the bad > ones. Guest guest
Hi. Sorry for dealy as only just noticed your post. I used to buy from Wellspring years ago then there was a huge debacle about the ingredients making the progesterone no bioavailable and petrochemicals used....letters of explanation were sent by both Wellspring and the US company who said theirs was pure and worked and the other did'nt. Wellspring, needless to say desputed their claim and left it up to customers to decide. At the time getting some from the US worked out pretty expensive and it was tempting to use the other cheaper one. I stopped using it altogether and only just started up again recently and got it from www.serenity.org.uk after reading the ingredients and remembering the kerfuffle previously. I was having massive flushes all day and night long but after using serenity for only a short time from this source, the flushes diminished to just slight and less often. I know it works as I left off for a few days as you are supposed to and they came back with avengeance and, now using again, are a little better again. As some people are saying Wellspring's product works that cant possibly be disputed I guess but i'd rather be cautious and use the one with less dubious ingredients espcially now it's comparative pricewise. Hope this helps. J > > > I have searched previous posts here and there does seem to be a little > confusion over whether to use the Wellspring or the " original " serenity > cream. Guest guest
Miriam, I don't know - that is why I posted here. But reading all that has been posted about them I tend to side with Health Science for now re the history of both companies. But putting aside the controversy between the two companies, looking at the ingredients from both, the " original " company seem to have more natural ingredients than Wellspring. My body has in the past had reactions to the aluminium in deodorants, nickel in jewellery and other products have caused me problems too, so I am very keen to keep as natural as possible with whatever I put in or on my body. I have ordered from health science now from here http://www.progesterone.org.uk NOT to be mistaken for http://www.progesterone.co.uk/ which is wellspring. I ordered the Serenity Green from health science. > > Do you mean this Health Science? > > http://www.health-science.com/serenity_for_women_info.html > > How do we know Health Science is telling the truth about Wellsprings and not just slagging off the competition? > >

Guest guest
Hi, In the literature I am given with my diaries by Dr. P. it says the Wellspring place to get Serenity - so I am even more confused now. I have not been recomended to get it from any other source by him, just the Wellspring. Is this the company you are talking about http://www.highernature.co.uk/Default.aspx I have to send back a diary to Dr. P and I will ask him whch is the best cream to get. In the Files section here under the Progesterone ones there is correspondence from Wellsprings saying they have equal right in using the same forumula as the original company as it is the manufacturer that has the rights and not Health Science, but I suppose it all depends whether they are still using the original formula or not. > > HI ,Dr P recommended the prog cream from higher nature, i believe they are in surrey . > > just Google higher nature- i use the one sold by a girl who`s details are in the files.
