Guest guest
One Scoop 2x a day is how I have done it. Buist, ND HC TLC liver cleanse I just got my TLC and I've got questions about how to use it. It says on the container to take 2 scoops with 8oz water, but it says on Dr Brownstein's blog, "The suggested dose is one scoop two times per day until the can is finished (about 3 weeks)." Does anyone know which is the best way? Also, is it best to take it with or between meals? Thanks,Marge
Guest guest
Can someone tell me what a TLC liver cleanse is, and where do I get it IF I need it? I'm sure I do need it and maybe it will stop these bloody, painful cramps I'm getting every night with "0" sleep which makes me grumpy, tired and lethargic all day. L.P. Guest guest
TLC stands for Total Liver Care and is a Pure Zen Health product that Dr Brownstein and his partners developed for their patients. You can order it from his office at www.centerforholisticmedicine.com The instructions are take 1 scoop 2x / day. Are your cramps in your muscles? If that is the case then you may need to add some Magnesium & Potassium. Dr Brownstein's office also sells a buffered C powder that contains both with Vit C and Ca. It is the same product that I talk about called BalanCe but from the Professional Supplement division of VRP. Guest guest
Hi .....I will definitely look into this. Yes....My cramps are in my muscles (I think I still HAVE muscles??) and they just tighten up with excruciating pain and when I lift my butt up to turn over in bed seems to bring them on every time. Last night I did sleep better. Didn't take any calcium so maybe I am getting too much so will just stick with mag/potassium for now, and will probably order the BalanCe and TLC. L.P. Guest guest
Dear LP I had the same problem. I take a similar formula, 400 mg Magnesium citrate in water before bedtime and a quarter teaspoon of sea salt in a half glass or so of low sodium V8 (which has more potassium than regular V8) juice about an hour before bedtime. The two seemed to eliminate the cramps for me.  A tablespoon of coconut oil also. Guest guest
That sounds like you have overloaded on the Calcium. Most people think they need to supplement with calcium but if you have enough magnesium you will absorb more calcium from your food so you don't need too much. Glad you did better last night. Guest guest
Go to www.purezenhealth.com and look at the ingredients list. It is formulated for liver and kidney function and not for a mulit-vitamin. Buist, ND HC Re: TLC liver cleanse What is the difference between this TLC product and a good multivitamin please? Guest guest
So would it be okay if I kept using something like Dr Ron's multivitamin, that has everything that the purezenhealth has and more, apart from the phosphorus and iodine, and added the phosphorus (already taking the iodine) would that be fine? The quantities are all the same or higher in Dr Ron's, apart from the B12. http://www.drrons.com/docs-best-multi-vitamin-mineral-antioxidant.htm I've looked at getting the TLC a few times but feel like I'm just doubling up plus the Dr Ron's works out much cheaper. Should Dr Ron's be also helping me with my liver or is the phosphorus vital to liver care? Is there a good way of getting phosphorus through food? Guest guest
Sorry, probably also should have added, I'm aware that you are supposed to get phosphorus through meat, fish and dairy products, but am assuming that just eating these as part of a normal diet isn't considered enough or it wouldn't be in the TLC?? Guest guest
Hi , Six capsules = one serving. i.e. 6 of the 180 capsules works out at $59.95 for a 30 day supply. Which is still expensive, but I don't want to double up if I don't need to. But also want my liver to be as healthy as possible so if there was something extra about the TLC, e.g. in terms of the phosphorus, I'd probably try to get it anyway, at least for one or two months. I'm not trying to push one product over another, just do this well but still as cheaply as possible without adversely affecting quality.
