Guest guest
I am fairly new to the group, I've been reading a lot of the posts. Not all because there are just so many. I've responded to a few, but for whatever reason they don't seem to be going through. This post I am sending directly throught the group page. Anyway, I wanted to say that for those of you with questions, I strongly urge you to read Dr. Brownstein's book " Iodine: Why you need it, Why you can't live without it. " It answers a lot of the questions I've seen come through here. And while I don't want to take anything from and the moderators, I think by reading the book it would lighten their load in responses. I just finished reading it and today I'm passing it on to a dear friend of mine so he can learn about this. The book goes into detail regarding why your TSH may rise once starting Iodine, the science behind it, etc. It also talks about ADD/ADHD, birth defects, and a host of other ailments that an iodine deficiency can lead to. Anyway, I just wanted to share my recommendation. Vicki in Reno

Guest guest
I am reading the thyroid book now. So clear and easy to understand. Besides that, there is lots of information in there that I haven’t run across before. Very complete explanations of why this is so and why that is so. You don’t sit there reading and wonder why, because he explains it. I want to buy another copy for my daughter. Carol
Guest guest
Dr Brownstein's books are excellent resources. He includes the science but he does it in a way that makes it easy to understand, even for people with brain fog. He keeps his chapters short, and he repeats crucial information in various contexts so that people can: a) read the chapters that they are most interested in, and not have to refer back to earlier chapters to understand something. Both of those make his books great for people steruggling -- On 16 Sep 2011 at 12:06, Carol Palmer wrote: > > > > I am reading the thyroid book now. So clear and easy to > understand.
