Everyone, Just got some test results back that showed I tested positive for the mp bacteria, which Dr. Brownstein discusses in his book as an impediment to thyroid function.  Two questions – 1.  Has anyone else been diagnosed with this?  How did you treat it?2. Will iodine work to rid me of this infection? OK, I guess that’s three questions.  My labs show I’m also high in RT3, so I’m trying to figure out the best course of action.

I had a bad bladder infection caused by mico plasma .Dr from Quantum Techniques  cleared it in about 20 minutes with energy medicine .Pain and blood in urine disappeared in those 20 minutes.I was amazed and very grateful.

One of his colleagues ,Carolee ,will work 30' minutes free with new clients. They also understand thyroid and iodine etc....www.quantumtechniques.comWishing you a speedy recovery,

Hi Chris:

I was diagnosed with Chlamydia Pneumonia years ago and it has never been treated but it gave me HEART DISEASE . My 2 Grandsons have it, diagnosed while they were 14 and 16. This virus gave them ASTHMA. It's different in everyone.

They were given Zithromax and one of them was cured of the Asthma but the other boy couldn't tolerate this particular Antibiotic at 14. He is going to try again in a couple of weeks as he is now 20 and thinks it might work this time.

I only lasted 3 days on the Zithromax and on the 3rd day it seemed like every cell in my body was vibrating. It was awful..

I was then given Minocycline but with Gut & Yeast issues, I was too afraid to try it.

Will Iodine work? I wonder if there is a Database SOMEWHERE, that we could check out and see if Iodine would work?

ANYONE KNOW?

I think in Dr. Brownstein's material he discusses using both iodine &

antibiotics to treat his patients with a pathogen load. Something about that

using the antibiotics was much more effective than the iodine alone.

This suggests to me that while iodine is an important consideration in treating

pathogens that one should also look at other components such as antibiotics or

perhaps an herbal approach like cats claw or other potent antimicrobials. Each

person and path is individual.

One effective approach to RT3 that has been discussed on this forum is the use

of the liver support product TLC carried by Dr. Brownstein. You could do a

forum search for 'RT3 TLC' to look at past conversation about it.

Hi Bonnie,I would ask the doctor if penicillin would work to treat it. Penicillin does not kill off the good bacteria like broad spectrum antibiotics do. We have had problems with candida in the past, so if we need something, we always check penicillin first. Penicillan does destroy good bacteria, my biomed doctor has given me penicillan long term to help destroy the super bug I have, enterococcus, its quite resistant to antibiotics so this is why I will be having repeated courses for 12 months.

I also will be taking mutaflor, coming from Germany, my understanding is it is a special probiotic to help put the good bacteria back into the body and counteract the damage that penicillan can do to the good bacteria.

I also take lugols Iodine and low dose naltrexone for bowel disease.

Cheers

I think its how you read Donna's sentence. I read it to mean penicillin does not kill good bacteria to the extreme that broad spectrum anti-biotics do. The key word being 'like', meaning in the same way. That is how I read it because the new 'super duper antibiotics just totally wipe out any and all good bacteria and penicillin being a simpler antibiotic, it is not as harmful. Anyway, that's how I read it. Best, Kathleen

Why not just take the iodine and see how you do? Iodine has the power to clear

disease. If

you're taking iodine anyway, and you have chronic illnesses to heal from, get

your dose up to

100mg/day and see how you do. If you're already taking iodine and you're not

palpitating, it's

not very likely you will start doing so. That is generally something that shows

up quickly as a

side effect of bromide detox in people, at least it looks that way based on our

experiences

here on this list.

Thanks Kathleen for clarifying. Our  doctor explained years ago that penicillin works more specifically on the bug you are trying to get rid of, as do many of the older simpler antibiotics. “Broad spectrum†just kills everything in its path, whether it needs to or not, which is why the name broad spectrum. His line was, “Why use a cannon when a pistol will do?†It is easy for doctors to just prescribe a broad spectrum, because it will probably kill most bugs, but it takes time to stop and look up a lesser, more specific antibiotic for that particular bug/area of the body that will not cause too many unwanted side effects. I can see that if you take anything long term you still would have to replace the good bacteria, and with any illness your good bacteria is overwhelmed by the bad, needing replacement, but for a typical usage, penicillin was what our candida knowledgeable doctors used as often as possible when reminded we had already dealt at length with candida problems. On the whole it has been a number of years since we have needed to even consider a possible usage of any type of antibiotics, I believe because of what we have learned about iodine usage and the change in our thinking about preventative health and what to do to stay healthy. So this is not an area of current research for me. But I was blessed with more “old fashioned†doctors, who used medications very sparingly, and I really could trust their knowledge without researching to protect myself. As far as I know penicillin will not even touch mycoplasmas.. these things hide inside the cells and are not touched by normal antibiotics. My understanding is that Minocyclines starve them to death but even then they dont actually kill them directly, which is why you need to take them for a long time, to keep them from growing back. cuts back the numbers so your immune system can get ahead of the problem. You are correct that Iodine will not be enough to get rid of Mycoplasma

Pneumoniae.

However, iodine is a very important part of your defense strategy.

My doctor found I had very high tests for Mycoplasma Pneumoniae as well as

Chlamydia Pneumoniae.

It takes a long treatment with three different antibiotics to kill these

intracellular parasites. Yes, that's right-they live off the

ATP generated by your mitochondria. My standard routine was 200 mgs of

doxycyline a day, azithromyacin every mon, wed, and Friday. Then five days of

Flagyl or Tindamax every two weeks. This is the killer antibiotic that gets to

the cryptic body form of the bacteria.

For more info, do some reading at www.cpnhelp.org

If you only try to kill these bugs with one antibiotic, you are wasting your

time and

medicine.

Have you considered a colonic with a probiotic implant to help with candida and

recharging your colon?

Avoid all sugar. Viruses thrive on it.

Have you tried increasing your Vit. C to bowel tolerance?

Hi,I take the Adrenal Rebuilder by Dr. , Future Formulations. I tried 5 or 6 others from the health food store. Nothing helped. Now, in just 2-3 months, my temp went from 96.1 to 96.7. I take 6 a day at this point. I tried Isocort for 8 months a few years ago too. It didn't help. Used HC and it just made me gain weight and feel awful. I couldn't even use it that long. Someone on this group mentioned this product and then I remembered that he was the one that wrote the book about Adrenal Fatigue in the 21st Century and it clicked.

I am so happy to have found it. I also got some for my father and although he isn't faithful about taking it, he said his temp is going up. He is faithful about taking his iodine though. He just loves how he feels. In fact, at 80, he is down in Texas, where it is hotter than .... painting my brothers new house with him. They didn't like the previous owners colors and my dad is a painter, so he went down to help. (An excuse to go see his granddaughter too.)

Several months ago, he could barely get out of bed. He is still tired, but getting better each day. His brain fog is so much better too. He said when he packed this time he didn't have to go over everything over and over and then still forget something/everything.

He is standing at 5'10 again too! He used to be all bent over. I used to try and get him to stand up straight, but he would say it hurt too much. So he is doing better than me, but I am very happy for him.

Hope that helps! Glowing,grace~

From what i have read on the adrenal board, Isocort was reformulated last spring

and some people don't like it while some do.

The moderator is recommneding Nutri-Meds desicate adrenal cortex for those who

don't like the new Isocort.
