Guest guest
You never *have to* do any test. You can take iodine w/o testing. You can stay on whatever dose makes you feel good. For me it is 50 mgs - for others they choose more or less. There are no rules. Buist, ND HC said... said," most people don't check for Iodine Levels......" so does that mean I don't HAVE to ever do a test? I believe all tests of this nature done in Canada are SENT TO THE US and I was quoted a price today of $400. and I think it was a blood test. So that may not be a Loading Test. So if that is true (at this Clinic) then I'll have to find a doctor and I'd rather just NOT do all that. Hopefully I can just STAY with 50 mg. of Lugol's, Can I? Thanks, Bonnie
Guest guest
Yes Bonnie, you can stay at 50mg Lugol's, or go up or down . It's really up to you. I have taken iodine for many years and have never had an iodine test. It's nothing anyone 'has' to do. Make sure you are taking the companion nutrients. Guest guest
But you need to add the bromide test which is another $30 so it is a total of $105. The person asking about the test was in Canada though so they will not have the same benefit of getting the test as we do in the US. Buist, ND HC Re: said...
