First, a big thankyou everybody who has provided answers and insight to my

difficulties with thyroid and detox. Your advice has been much appreciated.

Question about unrefined salt: I purchased some salt that it says on the package

that it was collected from sea water naturally dehydrated in the air/sun. Yet

the my recently purchased salt is nearly pure white. But the

protocols/directions say salt should not be white---a white color means it is

refined. I found a store tha sells what it calls " Himalayan " salt---it is

pink---but comes in big crystals the size of peppercorns. I heard that crystals

that large mmean that the salt was heated/cooked in order to evaporate it---not

a good thing!

Does anyone know of a reliable source of unrefined salt---a brand found in

health food stores or can be bought online? If nearly pure white salt says on

the label that it is unrefined---should I believe the label?
