I would ask the company directly or ask the doc to show you that in writing. In

16 years, I've never had an insurance company drop me.

What an insurance company can do is refuse to pay if the child becomes ill with

a " vaccine preventable disease " .

I've never heard that before. Is that something that they actually write into

their policies? It wouldn't surprise me--just have never heard it.

Of course, I've never needed the docs to treat any of those diseases because

first, my kids only had chicken pox and I didn't take them. Second, they haven't

had any of the other diseases.

Everyone would need to read their insurance policies to see what exclusions are

listed. Read the whole thing something like that might be tucked in there.

I looked into that too a year or so ago and the ins. policy here for these townhouses would not cover our losses. I did end up getting contents insurance during the summer. Maybe it would be hard to prove that we have mites... So glad someone got reimbursed though!

Insurance

Angie.....I am so happy that your mom was able to get reimbursed for the items she lost! I did contact my insurance company and realized i had a clause in my condo declaration insurance stating they wouldnt reimburse for any loss or damages relates to "insects". I argued for many weeks but they were firm. I will be looking at my insurance policies more closely now.....not just us but people with bed bugs and have to throw away everything they own to rid themselves if the bugs are greatly affected. And we all know how bed bugs are taking over now. > > > > > >> > > > > > I don't want to be a race car driver anymore. Oh...No... Those little clips I think on Saturday night Live of the little toy rubber guy being forced to crash in his little car.> > > > > > > > > > > > I finally went outside this evening to pick up toys that the 3 yr. old gran son had left out on the lawn by a very heavy plastic bench that looks like real wood. I had a bucket and filled it full of toys and hand carried a little school bus that makes music and has figures that ride in the bus. I place it on my Washer (daughter in-laws washer) and left it while I filled the bucket with hot water and Orange plus and Dr. Bronners Pepperment soap. I went into the kitchen to do something else and started itching. I usually do not itch. Stinging; I use to have terrible stinging. Then my head had crawling. Under my right arm was pink like I had been slaped. I go back into the laundry room to do more on the toys and notice the bus is covered in tiny dots. As big as this i on this sentence. Very tiny. Reddish. > > > > > > > > > > > > To my horrar they are all moving and pretty quick for little bugs. They are now all over the washer. I put the bus in the utility sink and spray the hell out of it with Orange Plus. I do the same to the washer. I grab my husband and say see how tiny the bugs on me can be and why its so hard to see them and look how fast they are. He gets a magnifier out and looks and says they are aphids or baby spiders. They look like spiders. I tell him that means they are spider mites. He disagrees. I get tape on a group when they were moving just before I went spray crazy and they are able to get unstuck and its thick see through packing tape. There was enough stuck to sit and get the scope out but it was scary to transfer them into the living room to have a look. When wet and stuck to tape they look like specks. We could only find two with some legs showing and even then you had to have seen them moving before you would really know that what you saw were legs and not just guessing. I told the hubby that the specks of dead bugs now look just like some of my tiny specks I look at through the scope. He said no I am wroung and they are aphids and maybe baby spiders. > > > > > > > > > > > > That toy bus was absolutly crawling on every inch of it. I guess that would mean my lawn and under my house could be really bad. Dang I feel doomed. I can not afford money wise to keep fighting. I am way way way better than last year, but still when it comes to money it sucks. I tried for food stamps and found out late yesterday that we did not qualify. I still trying to slowly buy the items to correct my bed infestation. This evening my legs and privates have activaty. Low key but enough to make me nervous after the horrid find.> > > > > > > > > > > > I want to go outside and lay on the grass and just give up and never get up and just scream and scream and scream till they lock me away. Of course that would only make me stuck deeper into the mess with less ways out. Just like any disease we are forced to go through it or live with it. But with hardly any support. Talking about Dr.s mostly and than some unbelieving family members. Well off my soap box.> > > > > > > > > > > > In Light Lynn> > > > > > p.s. My evening has been very calm and pleasent in spite of the bug scared. I just needed to vent.> > > > > >> > > > >> > > >> > >> >>

Is the iodine loading test ever covered by insurance? (Or the bromide test?) I saw one of the websites with these tests is also offering a flouride test, but I could find no info about it. Does anyone know what it entails and what it shows.

Thanks,

Rhonda

Thanks to those of you who gave me the advice. I didn't know some of the info &

I hadn't thought about going to my State Rep for this. He now knows who I am, so

that makes things a little less difficult & he also knows .

Don't have a day off til next year, so has to wait til then.

My boss & I agree....It DOES help to whine. Thanks to the financial company

they use, was able to get reinstated. Hopefully the saga has ended.

Have a Happy New Year everyone.
