Guest guest
FWIW, a relative who is a chemist advises that iodine solutions can be kept " for a time " in plastic containers but iodine tends to degrade rubber and plastic over time; for long-term storage, keep it in an amber glass container in a cool, dark, dry area. Jars can be found at lab supply houses; dropper bottles are usually available at health food stores. > > Hi , > > I don't see in the recipe, you emailed out, if one should store > and or make Iodine in glass or plastic. > The video/recipe I found on youtube is pretty much > identical to yours except he is very specific about > making it in glass. > All this time I thought the iodine I've been drinking was in glass, but I > just went to look and the 1 ounce bottles are plastic. > The kind they sell at our local drugstores are also plastic. > I was told that hydrogen peroxide can't be stored in glass or > it will explode..... so just want to make sure this isn't the same > for iodine! > I wanted to order some dropper bottles for > breaking my 'quart' recipe down into smaller batches. > Now I'm not sure if to order the plastic 'amber' bottles or the glass > 'amber' bottles or even if to just leave it in the 'CLEAR' glass quart > bottle I'll be mixing it in? > Since you've made your own, what do you use? > THNX again!!! > Really appreciate ALL your help!!! > > > > > > " The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its > animals are treated " > Mahatma Gandhi >

Guest guest
Hi ,THNX... that's who I'm going to be orderingall my supplies from today.BTW, do you have a scale? I notice that he sells scales as well. Did you buy one form him?Did it work for you? I was going to ask him if hewould please separate my order into the rightamounts and pack the leftovers separately. Then I would use the scale I buy from him to test out theamount..... that way I know, for future use that itworks. I bought one, in the past, (it wasn't digital)but I wasn't sure if to trust it, it was very flimsy. The gym I go to has a digital AND a regular (doctor type scale with weights on it) and they are off by a lb or so. I'm thinking that he must be aware of the recipethat most people use, so why doesn't he just sellin those amounts?!!!THNX again ,PS When you made the recipe was it really exact ...or can it be off just slightly ......I'm thinking that itwouldn't matter ... that it would still end up Lugols ....just a little stronger or a little weaker. Am I correctin my logic / math .... or should I find a way to betotally exact?!!!!
